Series that involve grown, accomplished men, being reborn into a new world. Other worlds are less technologically advanced than ours but have magic to compensate. These worlds are transformed due to the intervention on these main characters.

There are so many similarities between the two that one could describe their plots simultaneously: A shut-in otaku-type with a demanding office job dies after getting hit by a car, and finds himself reincarnated in a world governed by magic and threatened by monsters; however, due in part to the fact that he still remembers his past life on Earth, and thus possesses a body of knowledge completely foreign to his new world, he quickly becomes an OP badass magical wunderkind who is able to perform once-impossible feats unlike anything ever seen before, revolutionizing the way magic is practiced and changing the world forever. Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari is funnier then Knight's & Magic, but K&M has more action. But is you one, you will like the other. One was transported to another world, the other was reincarnated. Both is about Mechas, and a kinda of OP character. But enjoyable.

both are about a guy that dies and gets the chance to be reborn in another world with enhaced abilities

Strong, subtle, overpowered character stuck in a game-like fantasy world.

Similar insofar as: both MC are taken into a new fantasy world both have a passion (books / mechas) both develop their passion into a way of life They have a very different dynamic though - Knight's & Magic is very much a mecha fighting anime with a nerd in the middle. It's fun thought and I liked both hence this recommendation :P

Mecha destruction and overwhelming action scenes, who doesn't love them. While one features a fantasy type setting while the other is more science fiction both deliver in awesome Scenes. Though if you want more than just action, you choose Code Geass, while for only the action, go Knights & Magic.

Similarities - Both MCs are reincarnated into a fantasy world - Both MCs have overpowered abilities (OPMC) - Both MCs develop their new world with inventions - Both MCs attend an academy Differences - MC in K&M is more aligned with war/action VS MC in Strongest Sage is more aligned with guilds/adventure

both have young boys as the main charater who is obsessed with some fantasy element, in knights and magic is mechs and in 7th prince its magic. both of them are extremely talented in there areas and tend to creep people out with how focused they are. both improve there areas in ways no-one has thought of before both have MC's that kinda look like girls. both are set in a magical fantasy world where the MC's get reincarnated to live out there otaku dreams in there respective fields. 7th prince has a lot more ecchi stuff then K&M witch has no ecchi things.

Aoharu x Kikanjuu may have a completely different setting to Knight's & Magic, but that doesn't stop it from sharing a fun and energetic atmosphere, thanks to the similar main characters. Both main characters look fairly adrogynous and are often mistaken for the opposite sex. In Knight's & Magic it isn't an important part of the storyline, but in Aoharu x Kikanjuu it is essential. However, the main similarities they share are aspects of each other's personalities. They aren't exactly the same - due to not being an overly-used archetype - but they both possess a bubbly determination and a sometimes-freakishly-positive outlook on life. Their  read more

Both are fantasy mecha series in which a person from Earth gets isekai'd to a medieval world and use their knowledge to create giant robots and new weapons. The main difference in this aspect is in how that person is portrayed - in Dunbine he's a villain and shown in a negative light for proliferating arms and warfare, while in K&M he's the main character and shown in a positive light for his genius and rapidly advancing technology. There are other notable differences, while both series have large ensemble casts, K&M is more focused on the development of the machines while Dunbine focuses more on  read more

Both MCs die from overworking and are transported into another world in a child's body. With their knowledge from their original world. Slow but steadily enhances the technology in their new world

If you are looking a darker version of this sort of anime, then God Eater would be a good choice. Knight's and Magic / God Eater contains Beasts that needed to be slain otherwise they possess the threat to destroy the humanity. Each character has a weapon of their own and utilize it to destroy the enemies, the items that are left by them are used to create weapons for the humans to use. God Eater also contains a human enemy, which could potentially endanger their lives. There's an explanation of the backstory, how everything started so this could get you hooked if you're interested of knowing  read more

Both have magic school academy to learn magic. The MC is smart. Many people are inspired by him.

Entirely different tone, but both shows are about 30+ year old office workers who find joy by escaping the real world to a fantasy one. Of course, K&M sends him to a real world, and Recovery is only a video game, but this idea of learning how to happily socialize in an escapist scenario is present in both.

Both are Mecha Series. Take place in a world where Mecha are controlled by Magic. Have equally op main characters. A friendship cast of main characters. Unique Mecha's.

Both are isekai characters that are reincarnated in a new world and have a love for their hobby. Both are also quite OP in their new world.
report Recommended by Spelunker30
Both series focus on the development and creation of machines, although R;N has more mystery focus outside of these parts, while K&M has more action focus. Both also have leads whose characters are based around their love for robots.

Apparent in their titles, the worlds in The Irregular at Magic High School and Knight's & Magic involve the use of magic in their development. Both anime have their serious and comedic moments and are exciting stories that feature main characters who seem to break the common sense of what's possible.

If you are looking for similar isekai anime I highly recomend Knight's & Magic. Similarities: 1. The main protagonists died in car accident and were reincarnated in medival, magical world. 2. MC have their memory preserved thus are considered geniuses in new world 3. A lot of comedy and action Differences: 1. Mushoku Tensei has dirty humor 2. In Mushoku Tensei MC uses magic 3. In Knight's & Magic MC want to design and build magic powered Mechs

Both have the MC working towards some goal that is their passion. Both are geniuses. Both anime have magic. Both are light-hearted with a balance of action/adventure. Reikenzan has a much stronger focus on training and is more serious that knights and magic. Its also a bit more mature themed

Both are based on the love of mecha. The MCs are extremely talented at designing cool and unique robots based off of predecessors. The atmosphere in both is light and fun. The "Isekai" portion of Knight's and Magic does not factor in a huge amount and it was only mentioned in the first episode to give reason for why the MC is so good at robot design and "programming".
report Recommended by Javilin
Similar in that there are mecha in more fantasy setting but the similarities probably end there. Tone and presentation are completely different. The emphasis on Knight's and Magic is the light-hearted telling of the Main Character's goal and dream of completing his own personal, amazing mecha whereas Break Blade is very serious and conflict-driven.

Both main characters are forced into their otaku fantasy world.

Genre: Fantasy, Mecha, action, drama Both MCs travel to another world where giant, knight-like robots are piloted by warriors against monsters and enemy mecha in a fantasy and magic setting. Escaflowne is older but the art and execution hold up and the mecha probably look better than the CGI of Knight's & Magic to most. It is though a far more serious story but a more refined product. Knight's and Magic focuses on a light-hearted story about the MC's dream of making his own robot in this fantasy setting where robots are real.

both are summon to alternate world if diablo summon from game Ernesti summon to other world

In both these shows the main characters are extremely good at what they do, when something big is happening you know they will win, but the fun comes from finding out how they pull it off

They both start very similar, and the main character is sent to a different world which has some things that he loves. Knights and Magic doesn't have as much comedy though.
report Recommended by BeSaltie
Both have very charismatic protagonists; The two stories happen in a world where there is some peculiarity: in Knight's & Magic, the world has the Knight Runners that fight against creatures and in Dungeon ni Deai, the world has dungeons where the characters end up having to fight creatures. The two anime's are really cool, if you have ever seen one, you may find the other interesting.

Both main characters try to make a new type of super weapon. While Heavy Object focuses more on war with other humans+objects, Knights and Magic is more fantasy themed as in fighting monsters with the help of magic. Heavy Object also has more romance and humor in my opinion.

The main characters in both shows are geniuses with a burning passion for creation

Both main characters have reincarnated. Both characters held skills that astonish their surroundings. Having charisma and power they change the environment. I like how they do things that break the common sense of their surroundings.

Similarities: Both protagonists are dedicated and determined to the point where they're the youngest to accomplish something. In K&M, it's a knight runner. In WW, it's a witch. Both are magic fantasy anime. Both protagonists have white hair. Differences: K&M is an isekai, WW is not an isekai. K&M is an action anime, WW is an adventure anime. K&M has a male protagonist, WW has a female protagonist.

The general plot: An overachieving otaku who was run over by a car is reincarnated in a world governed by magic. Thanks to the possession of amazing talents and advanced knowledge of science & technology, the MC quickly becomes an OP badass prodigy who is considered more than a little eccentric. The main differences: 1) K&M's MC was a 20-something male in his previous life; the MC in Noukin was an 18 year-old girl 2) In Noukin, the MC just wants an average life; in K&M, the MC is obsessed with building cool robots 3) K&M follows the MC & his knightly order; Noukin is about a party  read more
