Aria the Origination

although in the exterior they look very different,Aria and Clannad are quite simmilar Both of them give the viewer that heartwarming feeling after watching an episode. Also both of them teach the viewer morals through the storyline. Aria is anyway much more less dramatic,because while Clannad can be very tense at times,Aria is always laid back and relaxing... anyway,these 2 animes are both a must watch,especially for the comedy/slice of life fans out there 

As for now those are two series which are most similar (yes I'm counting also OVA) both fluffy and warm slice of life, with slow tempo and nice scenery also I've choosen Orgination as both of them show main character developing and changing. 

Wholesome daily life anime about (mainly) cute girls and their water-related activities. Both by the same author. 

They are both comedy. Both are story about friendship and happiness. They also have the same clumsy main character. Well, if you like K-On!! you'll surely love this. 

They are both slice of life series with some fantasy aspect. Natsume yuujinchou is a bit more serious, but both have many heartwarming moments that really makes you happy for the characters. 

Both shows evoke emotions, have subtle character development and take place in astounding settings. Haibane is darker though, while Aria is way longer, features a bigger cast and is episodic for most part (requires the two previous seasons). 

Both slice of life shows about girls and the adventures they go on together. Both shows are very relaxing. Aria is more of a sci-fi show while Non Non Biyori is rather realistic. Cute girls galore. 

Both K-On and Aria are strong in conveying a relaxing atmosphere through pleasing visuals and a very beautiful soundtrack. While the shows might seem rather different on first sight, the concepts are largely the same. You get to watch a small group of friends grow subtly, but steadily, going on little escapades or just acting in their respective environment. Characters are strong in very similar ways (including all stereotypes and relationships), the melancholic and slightly nostalgic development and conclusion invoke very similar feelings. Moreover I would recommend watching Aria first, since it is (imo) more successful in overcoming stereotypes and offering a broader experience, while still accenting all the strengths that K-On has to some extent. read more 

- The main cast consists of colorful characters, with very distinct personalities which develop strongly throughout their respective runtimes - Akari and Doremi as characters are very similar. They experience similar struggles and are viewed in much the same way by their communities - Both shows develop their stories by connecting numerous subplots which are woven into an overarching narrative to produce a heartbreaking conclusion - They each feature dynamic comedy with inventive character expressions and creative gags - Finally, they both feature coming of age tales, ones where you witness the growth of the characters over a span of several years. 

"Akebi's gondolier uniform" is well-qualified to be seen as equal to the ARIA saga. Both anime belong to the iyashikei (healing) genre and are also "scenery pr0n" and slice-of-life and CGDCT themed. Akebi's ep. 6 and 12 are right there alongside Aria's S1Ep11 and S3Ep9, which are true legends of the genre. Akebi is also similar to Aria S2 (Aria the Naturale) in that both are best watched with display aspect ratio set to 16:10 rather than the usual 16:9, due to "molten candle" character art style choices made by the animation studios, which some find jarring. Both are the third and final season of their series. While the two previous seasons for both had little plot progression, these third seasons finally further the plot and reach a satisfactory ending (although Working!!!'s real ending is actually a 49 minute special). Content-wise, both are cute, slice-of-life shows about people working at their jobs. There is some romance in both, but it is much more central to the plot of Working!!! Working!!! also has more comedy. On the other hand, Aria is more relaxed and peaceful. Both are heartwarming. 

Both AMG and Aria are upbeat slice of life anime that have a very positive outlook and while AMG is a bit more action oriented than the extremely laid back Aria, they are both very sentimental series that never fail to bring a smile to my face. 

Sketchbook and Aria are the same thing. Different stories, settings, and characters, but the same show. You can't possibly like one and hate the other. 

Both series are very bittersweet, with plentiful moments of light-hearted comedy and emotional drama. They share the theme that nothing lasts forever, and that is what makes life so precious. Both have an incredibly memorable cast of characters, as well as a dreamy watercolor art style. 

It's the Fictional, yet somewhat believable environment they're both set in. The slow going pace of each episode and the small dosage of humor here and there. If you enjoyed the slow, "refreshing", movements and random story line, then Mushishi could be a nice choice also. 

Both series: *are about 3 girls that are friends *teach morals through the story line *are very relaxing and simple(no drama,no action...just slice of life and a bit of comedy) *in both series the girls travel to various places and have nice encounters with different people *have great/appealing characters,really good BGM and nice design on overall...if you enjoyed Aria then you will enjoy Kokoro Library,trust me :-) 

Both are episodic slice of life tales, and whilst Aria may the more popular, Binchou-tan has a charm all of it's own - a worthy rival to the series. 

When I see Kimi ni Todoke and appreciate its peaceful and charming atmosphere I only could compare to Aria series atmosphere. If you really want to enjoy both series you must let go by these unique and so slow, charming animes and their proposals. 

Both anime are very relaxing to watch and has this 'healing' effect.
