Hola no sé si cuenta como referencia a españa, pero en el 1er episodio de ef - a tale of melodies la madre de Ryunji prepara tortilla española (solo lo menciona).

Un amigo también me mostró (al menos en el manga, no sé si el anime lo adaptó) un par de escenas de un personaje que viajó a españa. Y también una escena de Yuru Camp donde Nadeshiko come paella.

Estuve investigando un poco más y al parecer no es que el último arco se desarrolle en España, sino que la protagonista quiere representar a a Japón para los JJOO y resulta que el certamen más cercano era el de Barcelona 92. De hecho, el último arco del anime consiste en el clasificatorio para un pase a los JJOO, y por eso en el último opening referencian a Barcelona y tópicos españoles en general. ¡Un saludo!

Según tengo entendido, en el último arco del anime los protagonistas se desplazan a España para un torneo de judo, de hecho, en el último opening de la serie se ve claramente como como se remite a este. ¡Un saludo!

Hi, I saw your list of animes that take place in Spain or have some reference to Spain and decided to help indicating a work that isn't present in the stack!

The anime in question is Master Keaton, more specifically the OVAs. In one of the stories (A Message from Alexeyev - Ep 4), the protagonist gets involved in a complex plot revolving a man and a dark secret about his past while visiting Formentera. The episode is very interesting and since it is set in Spain and the story revolves around events that are part of Spanish history, I believe it is an easy addition to the stack.
