Kill la Kill and Space Patrol Luluco are very high action and animated by studio Trigger. A main character of Kill La Kill (Mako) is high energy, carefree, and simple and the main character in Space Patrol Luluco is also carefree and strives to be as simple as possible. Each story takes place in a sci-fi school setting and pulls the viewer in with it's unique art-style and diverse setting. If you enjoyed the high energy, simple comedy, and sci-fi twist in either show I'd recommend trying the other.

Wacky, fast-paced, and cartoony scifi-comedies with strong themes about adolescence, love, and belonging. FLCL has far more depth as a character study while Luluco is more of a pure comedy, but on a general level they are extremely similar. They share some key staff as well.

similar art/animation styles. both have a random, weird type of humor.

Short anime both done by Trigger, features emphasis on justice and the police department. Parodies many issues with law enforcement and tropes in media. Luluco has more impressive animation than Inferno Cop, but still maintain the same high octane tone that Trigger is known for.

Gurren Lagann is referenced thoughout the series and Space Patrol Luluco is more enjoyable after having seen it as well as other Gainax and Trigger productions.

Both share the same director, have bright poppy art, high energy animation, wacky characters and both feature interplanetary authorities and criminals.

Both are high energy, fast paced lots of action and hectic moments as well as quirky and cool characters as well too.

Colorful and bold designs, zany and fast-paced action, adventures in bizarre worlds. Luluco and Cocona get dragged into strange adventures which, although they are unwilling at first, they both come to enjoy. Flip Flappers and Space Patrol Luluco are wild rides bursting with energy, making both a joy to watch.

Both of these are about a girl that is pretty normal and they both get thrown into different worlds that they are used to. They are both from Trigger, and share same type of humor and art style. There is even spin off episode in Uchuu Patrol Luluco, when they get to meet Sucy from Little Witch Academia.

This show has the same studio as LWA. There is a full episode on which they get to have a crossover with LWA

Abenobashi and Luluco. Both series show satires / parodies to other series, in an adventure trying to find its true home, between so many parallel worlds. The protagonists will see different versions of their world, which are products of magic (in Abenobashi) or Science Fiction (in Luluco), although everything can always be a nonsense.

Each show is about an agency in a city on earth where aliens and humans live in harmony. Each agency is filled with colorful characters. Each show has some ridiculous comedy scenes.

Space Patrol Luluco and Concrete Revolutio are both shows with unique art styles. They are both about an organization that basically helps protect the city/world with their powers. Each show is also very weird. They are both some of the most colorful anime that I have seen.

Trigger-chan and Uuchuu Patrol Luluco are made by the same creators. They both have a cute and western style, plus lots of action.

uchuu patrol luluco is a more absurd but condensed version of promare,,, kinda. very similar dumb fun vibes.

Absolutely absurd, silly and random short-length comedy

Both are fast paced and gag focused. They both have lots of high-octane action and high quality animation to back it up. The character are strange and wacky and are where most of the comedy comes from The main characters both want to be normal despite living around so many weird people. While Space Patrol Luluco is delivered in small shots of comedy in 7 minutes, Guru guru spans twenty minutes and still manages to keep the jokes fresh and entertaining throughout. Luluco is like Guru guru but in space with intergalactic battles and Guru guru is like Luluco but in an old school rpg adventure which  read more

Both animes are about adorable girls that have the ability to transform into another form. Kaijuu girls has more of a Chibi and Fantasy feel to it, while Luluco has a Spacey-like theme. Both are very cute shows that have premiered this year, and are very fun to watch.

Both are adorable animes that are around the same time length of 9 minutes, and have plenty of comedy, but Goma has more of a Slice-of-Life theme to it, and Luluco having more of a action-supernatural feel to it.

Both anime feature transforming girls fighting some sort of evil organization. Both anime have bright colours, flashy action scenes. These anime share a few folks working on the animation and have a distinct animation style. A fairly short watch you can easily plow through in one day.

Watching Uchuu Patrol Luluco really reminds me to Top wo Nerae! a.k.a. Gunbuster, I almost think it's a reference to it (or it indeed is?) - Both main characters are red-haired girl who fight against extra-terrestial beings who threatens Earth - Both starts off as an ordinary student of a space-oriented school - Something bad happened to their parents that made them forcibly recruited to an organization - Both have love interest - Both have some epic moments If you like Uchuu Patrol Luluco I think you will also like Gunbuster.

Both are pretty sci-fi like, and ultimately revolve around a love story. Both are pretty bizarre, strange and unusual. Although Luluco is much more of a wacky comedy, while Kaiba is much darker, but does have elements of humor as well.

Both MCs are dragged into working as space police Both shows have weird aliens Both shows start out from school Characters are kind of similar

Both are high energy, sci-fi/comedies, with bizarre characters and excellent animation.

Comedical series with short episodes that serves as a huge crossover, connecting various works of the same author/studio into a one universe.

Hyperactive alien randomness.

While most of the studio trigger has been working on many large scale projects there was small team which was focused on these "shorts" (shows with short episodes) which are in many ways better than their large scale projects. These short shows seem like passion projects which frequently reference Trigger's (and Ginax's) past works. Unfortunately these shows are still overshadowed by popularity of Trigger's larger projects.

Short silly series' that rarely ever give you time to reflect on the stories as you get hit with an onslaught of jokes and gags at every turn

Very energetic parodies/meta-parodies of the magical girl genre. Stylistically quite Western but with a clear Japanese base. Great fun! Sweet Valerian is pretty old, but rest assured, the animation is still top notch for a 3min short from its time.

Both are funny, stylish and cartoony cartoons about aliens in a futuristic environment, with a dash of puppy-love romance. They're both very colorful, fun to look at with great animation, and around 10 min episodes, not too short or long.
report Recommended by Creamie
Both shows have space/galaxy related themes Both shows have cute main characters Both shows have a slight romance element Nova(Uchuu Patrol Luluco) reminds me of Minato(Houkago no Pleiades)
