Did you like zombie idols? How about a robot idol to fill that void in your heart? Miss Monochrome the Animation is only four minutes per episode, so its perfect if you need a palette cleanser, but still want a cute comedy about not-so-typical idols. On the flip side, if you like stories about atypical idols and you just finished Miss Monochrome, Zombieland Saga fleshes out the concept (no pun intended) in really unique and engaging ways

What should one expect of an android seeking to become a top pop idol. Why, one should expect a character learning what it means to be human so that soul will end up in their idol work, but both of these series touch upon the humor of this.

Both came from original concepts. Black Rock Shooter coming from a song, Miss Monochrome coming from the idol, Yui Horie.

Main char in both show will try all they can to stand out. Except everything ends up the way they don't expect.

Both are comedic short series with anime girl protagonists.

Aspirer. C&T and Monochrome both follow those who wish to make it big in the music industry, undertaking what is a journey they probably won't forget about. C&T's methods of going such ways involve a much more sophisticated way of doing so than Monochrome's comedic take on the path, though, they both still follow the general route of learning and building a team of individuals needed for glory on the big stage. Both are also somewhat futuristic, Monochrome being a literal robot compared to the super society of C&T. Both are pretty good anime, though Monochrome is to pass time really, compared to a fully-fledged interesting story  read more

Singing AI. Quite a literal similarity with protags both being singing AIs, their missions are pretty much the exact same thing in wanting to sing for humans via idol route or with an intention to bring happiness. Vivy is way more complex with a much deeper story to it in comparison to what can be described as a gag given by Monochrome. They both also have their names in the title. What is very different stories at the end of the day, they both share something similar in the music category. One is for fans of comedy, the other for those looking for a really good story.

Desire. Violet Evergarden and Miss Monochrome both follow characters who are fixated on one thing and will go to any lengths to make sure they get what it is they desire. VE does this with Violet and her life as an Auto Memory Doll, Monochrome does this with Monochrome and her road to idol life. It is a long road to get to where they want, but they create some interesting journeys. Presentations in both are vastly different, I would recommend VE for fans of drama, looking for good drama. Would recommend Miss Monochrome for people looking for some good time-efficient comedy.

It's a similar story about people becoming idols from the ground up. However, I like Idolls because it gives a more in-depth perspective on how being an idol works.

Both of these shows are parodies of the idol genre, which feature non-human characters as the idol. While Sekkou Boys is about a group of statues trying to become idols, Miss Monochrome focuses on an emotionless robtot trying to be one, but misunderstanding a lot of things or being amazing at everything...except being an idol. Both are meant to be more funny and they both have pretty great and catchy music.

Both are short episode comedy anime and feature some life problems with the help of anusual protagonists. If you liked Wooser, he makes cameo appearance in Miss Monochrome multiple times, while if you liked Miss Monochrome maybe Wooser will interest you because he often contemplates on various problems very passively just like Monochrome.

The primary characters are perfect replicas of each other. Without further ado we can deduce that Miss Monochrome and Drossel von Flügel are in fact androids with an obsession towards black and white color theme. Their AI as well is expanded upon learning more and more about humans whether it is done through direct interaction with them, as seen through the struggles of Monochrome trying to become an idol, or trivia given by their closest friend, robot Ruu-chan in Monochrome's case and Gedächtnis for Drossel. Because they are both short and episodic in content, don't expect much.

Anime with short episodes featuring animated singers with songs sung by an electronic voice.

Bot h are short episodic lighthearted comedy slice of life animes with the main focus of to become famous for their each thing. They both struggle quite hardly to achieve their goals, also where lot of their mistakes being about misunderstandings and such. Both have some random comedy into it :)

Both are collections of shorts following non-human girls who seek to be the #1 idol in a sense, and base their humor and short episodes on the foolery that ensues from their misguided attempts to reach their goals
