Both based off video games in the same "Tales of" series. They don't have any direct connection besides the name, but both are great but short shows.

Both are animated entries in the popular RPG series "Tales of". Featuring fantasy, magic, and swordfighting! Both contain exciting action sequences, magic, and evil villains! Tales of Vesperia is aimed at a slightly older audience than Tales of Symphonia, however.

Same genre: fantasy/adventure mixed with funny and melodramatic situations. Both are based on games and follow an epic story line.

Defineately the same futuristic-yet-historical feel and atmosphere to both. Nice pleasant watches, including fantasy, some comedy, action and lots of adventure (group travel places to achieve a goal) Also both have the underlining little romance plot - with guy caring and protecting vulnerable girl.

It's one of the four Tales games that were made into anime. Short, but great nonetheless.

Lloyd (Tales of Symphonia) and Parn (Record of Lodoss War) have similar personalities and aspirations. They are idealistic heroes with a strong sense of morality and act as the leader of their parties during their journey. Record of Lodoss War and Tales of Symphonia are heroic fantasy anime series that incorporate traditional RPG fantasy characteristics. In the anime fantasy landscape dominated by portal fantasy, both series will give you an opportunity to watch a more traditional fantasy anime.

Honestly, Just the main story of achieving a goal is very similar. .....Might be bit of a spoiler..... But at one point when Kirito uses dual swords, so much reminds me of Lloyd Irving. Both of these animes have good story line, character development/relationships, and the thrilling feeling when you want to see what happens next. I would be thrilled if Sword Art Online had a game of its own

Both shows are produced by Ufotable and if you saw either one of them, check em out! They both have magic, weaponry, light hearted moments but at the same time dark as well, points that will change the story forever as well, romance, and drama.

Both shows are about a group of people setting out on an adventure for different reasons. During this journey they encounter many new companions, enemies, monsters and spirits along the way.

The concept of trying to protect the world from destruction. Someone has "this" special power that can protect/destroy the world while having guardians to protect them. Romance is kind of hinted in both Friendship and betrayal are themes that strong in both series

Both anime are about protecting and saving the girl you love and both are action and romance

Both are adaptations that are highly regarded in their respective franchises and have yet to be dubbed later in the future.

Like to travel in different beautiful places? Both have several grand landscape backgrounds that the main characters adventured through the roads and visits from town to town. Though there are conflicts when it comes to politics, or something that is halting the main characters to achieve it's goal. Swords and magic were used as combat to fight people or monsters. The difference is that Symphonia is an OVA series follow by two sequels, and a huge party member fight. Densetsu no Yuusha is a full series, some mature contents and supernatural themes, and consist a small group party members.

I think both of these anime have pretty much the same feel. Guy main characters, girl antagonist, and both have action/comedy/adventure and some drama. I think some of the parts might thrill you and give you goosebumps but I think Samurai Champloo takes place in another century. This anime definitely shows fantasy than Samurai Champloo does.

Fantasy game rpg based show with the male mc inherited the great power in order to save his beloved friend. The lore and setting maybe too different. But if you like that kind of minor information, you shall be like one of them.

both are from RPG games in the playstation... have cute characters and magical/mystical powers to save the world... nice music and just almost the same plot... maybe about 10% ^_^

A girl becomes the preitess and has to complete tasks. Another simular thing happens but this is a spoiler.

Both contain, romance between the main 2 characters; with the guy trying to protect his love. Both also have fantasy, where the world/universe appears to need some sort of sacrifice; so there is always a sense of lurking doom. Both have a lot of cheese, some comedy and is quite predictable, but nice watches.

They both have that same predictable, Westernized, RPG-based feeling to them of a young boy coming into his powers.

The both anime are about a girl, who goes to a journy to save someone/something. Seirei and TOS have amazing animation and sound.

Both anime based on games. They tell a story about a cute, innocent girl, a boy with the urge to be strong and protect her, a mysterious bishie, a journey and our average RPG action.

Both have fantasy type of setting. Include a girl that is traveling on a journey.

Both have fantasy elements, with magic used by the characters to combat an evil organisation. Both go on adventures, and encounter problems with some good action. They both also have lots of drama, with the guy who has a possible love interest for the main girl (who has some unfortunate fate/destiny concerning the world and it's destruction) and fight to find a way to stop it. Good watches for those who like this type of genre, if you like one, you'll be sure to like the other.
