Kannazuki no Miko

Same creators. Also has a very trainwreck-type plotline and quite a few characters may look "familiar." :) 

This anime is not only created by the same person, but the characters kind of resemble other characters from his past animes, especially Kannazuki no Miko. After watching Kannazuki no Miko, you will have somewhat of an understanding for why some characters are the way they are, etc. And besides that, both anime are beautufully done and each have their own uniqueness to them! 

Same design, similar characters

Love. A good thing or a bad thing? What if it gets in the way of your whole life`s purpose? is it still good? Girls and boys both cry because of theri loss, can you stand not crying? Test yourself against crying your eyes out and laughing till you fall over in this magical anime full of love and loss. Is all fair in love and war? 

Two of the characters look similar to Chikane and Himeko off of Kannazuki no miko, And it has the Robot Fights too, 

The charackters are allot simulair. The plot a little to. A girl falls in love whit here sister and searchs for a way to save here in the other anime they're 2 friends who fall in love and one need so find a way to save the other. Of course there's magic in to in bote. 

Both series rely heavily on shoujo-ai as a plot device an emotional outlet. The main characters are almost counterparts in each series, Himeko (KNM) and Hatsumi (Yamibou) form a type that is played against Chikane (KNM) and Hatsuki (Yamibou), to the point that they even look alike. KNM has been hailed as Yamibou's successor and rightly so.  

This definitely will give you the same great yuri pleasures that Kannazuki No Miko has. Both a romance series and have action in it, whether it's mecha action or just adventure action.Both also shows the development of each other's feelings toward each other (Girls). If you enjoy Kannazuki No Miko, you will definitely enjoy Yami to Boshi to Hon no Tabibito. 

they're both yuri, there's nothing more to it... if you love yuri you'll watch this one too, plus the characters are like crossovers, they look the same...esp. chikane and hazuki.. ^__^ 

Apart from a number of more obvious similarities, such as the main duo having a similar appearance and personality across both shows, they also have similar problems to overcome in their relationship and feelings towards one another. In both cases you have two women who have so much trouble communicating their real feelings towards one another. Feelings of jealousy, desire, love, and affection are all lost between them because of an endless series of misunderstandings, crossed wires, and general shyness and unwillingness to be open and upfront about their feelings. If you like Kannazuki no Miko but would like more action in your yuri love story, you're going to like Ga-Rei Zero. Similar plotline but better soundtrack, better production quality, more action. 

The two heroines in both series share a similar relationship and the events of the story somewhat resemble each other. 

Both series contains a strange atmosphere from the very first pilot episode. Furthermore, there is the essence of yuri in the air that mixes in elements of comedy, drama, action, and later on emotions. There is also the destiny theme in which the two main female protagonists must undertaker in the series in a climatic battle.  

Two girls become besties by living together, bathing together, and fighting evil shit together until one seemingly turns evil and the two besties fight each other in the end. Implanted in the two main characters, the theme of sacrifice and concept of potential betrayal are present in both series.  

Girl-girl romances, or yuri themes. However not porn yuri, actual anime with fantastic stories and tensions.  

Both series contain yuri like themes from a school life setting. Both series' main protagonists are similar as well as the second main protagonist. Both series contain drama and romance as well as a mystery within the school. 

They both have a very similar feeling. And they both share the tragedy and sacrifices that are forgotten, bonds that transcend time and so on. Both recommended! 

Madoka Magica borrows some imagery from Kannazuki no Miko. Two main characters are very similar in both shows. And so are their dynamics and motivations - much more than it initially looks (especially considering Madoka Magica:Rebellion movie). But telling why exactly would be walking into heavy spoiler territory - plot twists play significant role in both series. 

Code Geass is obviously newer, and has a different permise, but they're both incredibly dramatic and have giant robots that are secondary to the plot. 

Remember that lesbian anime with outdated 3D mecha? You know, the one where they fight each other to save the world with the forces of yuri? Yea, me neither.
