I am still alive have no fear.
Work has just been absolute bonkers plus my Eagles won the Super Bowl so it's now been a non-stop party in this area.
I absolutely loved Ready Player One, even the movie I thought was pretty decent if not cliche but hey I love that cliche stuff. Sadly, I do not read much anymore nowadays because I have a hard time finding books that I interest me. I've never really got into manga even though I really have tried to back when I was heavily watching anime since I wanted to know how some stories ended, especially Noragami which was one of the big reasons I came back. Do you spend a lot of your free time reading manga? Is anime/manga widely accepted now on campus and such? I remember growing up and it not being quite as popular.
Honestly, the reason I was torn was because it felt like an incomplete season and was just starting to build. I wish they would've cut out some of the begin of the season that just felt like bloat. I'm like you though where I actually really enjoyed.
Outside of some action anime, I think the only reason I still enjoy anime anymore is because of how much I love the romance anime. I'm a sucker for a good love story and it feels like live-action stories anymore just don't hit as much as they use too. However, with my slowly getting older it might be time to find something else. It's funny we talked about books over, I was in B&N for awhile looking for a good sci fi/fantasy story with a great romance subplot. Frustrating.
What kind of visual novels do you play on your switch? I've never played any of them and have been curious how it is playing them.
If I didn't sit on a computer all day for work I'd be more inclined to play PC based but it's so much as it is. Sometimes I like to watch people playing their games on TikTok and always get jealous of their sweet set ups.
That sounds like an amazing Xmas break and miss times like that often. Even now, it's snowing here and I miss how I could stay up late and sit up there in the quiet.
How has things been going for you over the last month or so?
spring 2023 had some AMAZING anime looking back.
almost every anime had a score of 8 or 7 it was awesome :,)
Yes you may :)
I was planning on waiting until around now to watch Orb but my friend convinced to start last year and I did. Now I'm purposely falling behind so that I can binge watch episodes.
I can do that for some shows, not all. For example Solo Levelling S2, I just dived right in, couldn't wait. And I'm glad Apothecary Diaries kept the same quality unlike Tower of God.
Thank you! I thought I was crazy! It's not horrible by any means, but I'm just not feeling it as much as I thought I would.
It's a good show, nothing ground breaking but still rather good. If you have time you should watch it. It wasn't even on my planned list, I just saw it airing and was like meh, why not. And too my suprise rather good. And i've seen quite a few people are also watching it.
Apothcary Diaries S2, is going to have to conclude before I watch it, the way I binged the firs season was insane.
I've only watch S1 of fate/zero and I didn't like it that much, but so many people really like it, so I'm clearly missing something. What is it about that show that appeals so much, cause I'm considering watching s2
I think I have heard about Y/N. The synopsis sound pretty familiar.
Hmm, I saw it in the weeklies, I confess that I will watch it soon, I haven't watched it yet because I had a bit of a headache recently to watch something, so I only watched the episodes of the anime that I really wanted to see, and I left it to watch the rest today and tomorrow , since I'm better lol.
Thanks to you too!
Lol, Fate is awesome! Don't blame you at all. NANA is a very unique and different anime/manga compared to your standard shojo anime/manga. Despite NANA being published in Shojo, it's nowhere near as kid/teen friendly as shojo. So much adult content. If you want to watch something different, watch NANA. And don't expect results that would make you happy, the author doesn't give a ending/result that you would want.
thank you! likewise
Hiii btw, it's been a while but do expect some delays because of spring semester...
Lord of the Rings is just brings that calming feeling if you know what I mean. When I work, sometimes I'll put on the OST in the background to listen to because it puts my mind at ease. It's amazing how music can do someone things to help ease our minds or stress them at the same time. Today I was listening to the top Final Fantasy OST on YouTube and now all I want to do is playing them again. Growing up, I was such a HP nerd that I'd basically read the whole series during the summer. There was nothing better than staying up to the early hours reading them. I miss those days. Do you read a lot of books?
I'm assuming at this point you've finished it, what did you think of the new "season?" Torn is the word I feel for it.
I've yet to finish JJK 2 even though I keep saying I'm going too. Honestly, I've been in a pretty big anime slump recently with little desire to watch it. It feels like sometimes I just get meh since I know I'm not going to get a full story out of it. There is a low chance I'll actually pick up the manga and read it and especially with being able to read cliff notes on them whats the point reading it. Dan Da Dan was the most recent anime that I've liked. Usually I am a big romance anime fan since it just seems to hit so good. I don't get why but it just does. Do you like it?
However, the first two episodes of Solo Leveling were really good. Also, Sakamoto Days was fun too.
Please fill me in on how you like Cyberpunk because it def is on my list. Are you playing on PC or a system? I've been playing Legend of Dragoon so far which is finally picking up narratively but man the graphics and interface have aged poorly.
Did you do anything else exciting over the holiday?
Pleasure to meet you
My name is Rans, I'm a little lazy and slow to respond, but if you want to talk to me about something or etc.. feel free to ask
Hmm, what's my favorite seasonal anime right now?
I would say it's "Ao no hako"
But I'm also really enjoying “Ameku takao” and the 2nd season of “Solo Leveling”.
And you?
