Synopsis

High schooler Hayase Nagatoro loves to spend her free time doing one thing, and that is to bully her Senpai! After Nagatoro and her friends stumble upon the aspiring artist's drawings, they find enjoyment in mercilessly bullying the timid Senpai. Nagatoro resolves to continue her cruel game and visits him daily so that she can force Senpai into doing whatever interests her at the time, especially if it makes him uncomfortable.

Slightly aroused by and somewhat fearful of Nagatoro, Senpai is constantly roped into her antics as his interests, hobbies, appearance, and even personality are used against him as she entertains herself at his expense. As time goes on, Senpai realizes that he doesn't dislike Nagatoro's presence, and the two of them develop an uneasy friendship as one patiently puts up with the antics of the other.

Nagatoro was a very enjoyable romcom manga, which stays pretty “feel good” and doesn’t bog itself down with contrivances. I have thankfully gotten a better eye for spotting them or there has been a change in the industry that more romances are shirking away from threats of NTR and other nonsense. Perhaps things have just gotten more radicalized. Yes , art is first class . Characters are perfect . everything which any successful manga must have is there ....yet as much as i have read everyone will agree that something seems off ,odd n dull about protagonist ..or the male character . I was expecting comebacks to all insults he was taking in some karma is back // if not like she was saved by him somehow and turned into emotional guilt etc...but this is just going on forever ..like dude has accepted low standard .
yet. If later in manga ..the guy is given self respect n she also feels same ..n gets ...

After making such an effort to read this far into the manga, I can safely say that I'm not into this shit.

This review won't really contain any big spoilers, because even after re-reading until chapter 57, the story is so forgettable that I don't remember any of the specifics.

It reads more like a fantasy put into a book, like a fanfiction of a young masochist.

The plot is repetitive, an endless loop of using torment as a way to show "affection", if you want to call it that.

There is no protagonist. Like, I get it, the whole point of this manga is for the protagonist ...
