Bleach: Sennen Kessen-hen - Soukoku-tan

After an awe-inspiring battle with Ichibei Hyousube—leader of the Soul Society's Royal Guard—the powerful Yhwach moves into the final stage of his master plan. He aims to slay the Soul King, the being whose very existence maintains the status quo of three worlds: Hueco Mundo, the Soul Society, and the realm of humans that Ichigo Kurosaki and his closest friends hail from. Conquering his own bout with the remainder of the Royal Guard, Uryuu Ishida joins Yhwach in his efforts to create a new world in his image.

With a flood of resolution and newfound power, Ichigo rushes to stop Yhwach from accomplishing his ultimate goal and save the countless lives within the three existing realms. But Ichigo has a complicated lineage, one that leaves him susceptible to Yhwach's sinister influence.

Meanwhile, in a final desperate gambit, Jirou Souzousuke Shunsui Kyouraku, the newly promoted head captain of the Soul Society's combat corps, enlists the help of an old enemy whose immense power may turn the tide of battle.

This is literally a masterpiece, 3 episodes so far

Animation: 10/10
Storyline: 10/10
Pacing: 9/10
Enjoyment: 10/10
Foreshadowing 10/10.

There's really no words i can express it in, its simply a masterpiece and they added so many new things that wasn't in the manga, simply a work of art, the only gripe I could possibly give is that they always leave me waiting for MORE.

Overall, i really cant see the problem people have with bleach, sure the original had some questionable pacing but that was still amazing, regardless of the original iteration this is without a doubt an absolute masterpiece, probably best described in one word: Graceful.

Let's start with the fact that this season is clearly overrated a 9,01 that's crazy nostalgia

Secondly the plot is honestly terrible
Quincy's were the one's who were wronged
Yet they are constantly treated as the villains even by Ichigo who usually is a neutral party this Arc just seems lazy writing at its best also to have Ichigo somehow fight and survive the literal definition of God when some other guy that could erase people's existence could not win and then Ichigo fight with 2 swords and gesuga an some how doesn't instantly die is plot armor ( yes I know it's how the almighty ... saw it play out) but even then the reason sounds like utter bs

Next power ups seem like bs you get a power up you get a power up you all get power ups really makes the point of "training" seem like an excuse for most characters to get strong enought to face the next big bad which is just lazy righting like we've seen Ichigo an friends go on an annoying amount of training arcs like it's gotten stale an boring basically the same thing as dragon Ball super


Also there are some plot holes in the animation like soul reapers legit flying even though they can't except toshiro


Is it just me or does anyone think it doesn't make sense that the soul King is responsible for all three realms yet we never hear or see if there was a time before he was the soul King to prove that he is indeed responsible for keeping all 3 together


Long story short the writing is mediocre the plot is mediocre world building is mediocre animation is like a 8/10 characters mediocre character development mediocre

I would still rate this 7/10 cause my nostalgia without that it's unwatchable
Only reason I haven't dropped it yet is the almighty and aizen

Disclosure: I have not read the manga.

After hundreds of episodes and years of watching Bleach, to see the final arc get animated was an exciting moment of nostalgia from my teen years. Sadly the end result has been incredibly disappointing.

The first "new" season was really exciting, no holds barred throw downs, in every episode, bringing back characters and settings that rang all the nostalgia bells, but then the story and character development really started falling off the rails.

In this recent season, ENTIRE EPISODES are just monologuing and grand standing about "You're the bad guy!" and "No you're the bad guy!" , between a ... handful of punches and abilities being shot. The power leveling is insanely frustrating, our main character trained his heart out in some sort of strange torture chamber, but yet EVERYONE else around him is insanely powerful just "because" through no effort of their own.

The cool reveal moments of new powers or learned abilities are completely non existent so far over dozens of episodes...
