Rom-com fan and I also like Man United. I rank shows based on enjoyability. I don't approach anime with the intent to review it a certain way, I approach anime with the intent to enjoy it and more enjoyable shows receive higher ratings. I'm not one to get fixated on details unless they hinder the show. I leave general thoughts of the media I consume in the notes section of my completed list and you can find my reviews on the left for my more detailed thoughts if you are interested. I tend to review nearly every series I watch/finish reading nowadays. Thanks for visiting my profile! (Update: as of Dec 25, 2023 I am going on hiatus as a reviewer due to me getting into my dream school, I reviewed every single anime/manga I watched until now in order to help me get into that school, alongside my genuine passion for reviewing and discussing anime/manga, I probably won't review much (check the notes section for any thoughts/comments) from here on due to my medical school aspirations but it's been a wild ride and I want to thank those who helped me along the way :D. I might be back one day - never say never )

Hello, I just read your WA2 review, and I just wanted to say it was an amazing review. No idea why you got some negative reactions on it, maybe because of the 3/10? I personally think it's a bit harsh given the first half of the anime was very good. The only thing outrageous parts were in the final episode (though it's understandable that would leave many disappointed, as it's the finale, but as a pianist myself, I found the other episodes very fun).

I agreed with everything you said and I think people need to realize how shitty some of these characters are.

Haruki is probably one of the shittiest "realistic" romance fictional characters I've ever seen.

Hey, just saw your review on My Happy Marriage. I also enjoyed the show. This comment is meant to just be informational. So I wanted to point out that Netflix has nothing to do with the creation of this anime. They only pay for the rights to stream the show. The studio that made it is Kinema Citrus. Netflix doesn't have an in house studio, but sometimes they help produce (supply money for) anime. Most of those anime that they've helped to create (financially) aren't very popular with the exception Devilman Crybaby, The Way of the House Husband, and B: The beginning. But still, that's only financially. Another studio actually creates those. Just a heads up if you happen to review any anime in the future that Netflix has slapped their logo on.

I honestly wouldn't call WA 2 a 'trash' series. Of course it is a matter of taste whether you might like or not but WA 2 is a really precious add-on to romance genre because of it's rarely seen theme of rapidly estabilished relationship and the consequences of it.

Nowadays romances are pretty bold and repetitive, long and draining in the sence you feel forced to read it (or watch it), something I didn't feel with WA 2.

And lastly, it is mundatory to finish the VA cause it is the ultimate aftermath of events from the anime.
Hope that I shove some new light on why is the show worth the praise ;P

Hello! I used to really like it, but these days I'm okay with it. But if I remember correctly the rest of the manga was pretty good to me at the time! I'm just reading Citrus+ out of a feeling of sunk costs, like I've already gone this far might as well you know?
