That's interesting to hear ...... haven't gotten into jojo until last year because a friend of mine kept insisting that i should watch it
and i found the first part the weakest one , i almost dropped it there but my friend kept insisting that each part is unique and that not all parts are like part 1 , so i kept watching it was worth it . dunno why but part 1 was so random to me , it almost feels like a parody to me
random things kept happening out of nowhere and i wasn't really invested in the story nor the hamon stuff . I think it is also because it was the first time watching something like this and i didn't know what i was watching nor what to expect from this franchise.
But yeah im glad i finally got into it after years of seeing random memes and jojo stuff without understanding a single thing abt it

That's an interesting take ...Tbh at first when i started reading the manga after finishing the anime , i found it weird at the beginning , characters didn't look the same and the anime has a different vibe than the manga so it felt different , but once i got used to it , i really got into it and it was a total immersion... and the way that the mangaka draws the facial expressions of the characters is insane to me ....
Are you familiar with other shuzou oshimi's works like Chi no wadachi for example ?
Since we spoke about the animation of aku no hana , i think we have to speak about the ED , easily one of the most original and creepiest ending of all time .
Seeing your list got me curious .. is JJBA phantom blood /Battle of tendency your fav jojo adaptation so far ?

i watched the anime when i was 16 and without knowing that the artstyle is going to be like this
and that it was going to be a rotoscoping but it didn't really matter because of how intense the anime was and how dark and creepy the vibes .... gave it a 9/10
immediately after finishing the anime i went on and read the manga that become one my fav mangas of all time , i tried searching for something similar but didn't find a lot .... and because of me trying to look for something like this that o discovered oyasumi punpun and other inio asano works
so it is safe to say that its thanks to the anime of aku no hana that started getting really deep into manga
and thats what got me into denpa /coming of age stories
it def changed my manga taste and changed my favs ...
