Hi there
If you like goofy comedy, potentially mixed with good amount of romance, iyashikei, mystery or violent fight, let me know >.< Recently I more read than watch, mostly webtoons.
I've started watching anime in 2014. I'm so grateful for that :) To put it simply it's one of the the best contemporary multimedia artistic movements or Gesamtkunstwerk, if you like. If not the best...
I also like classic art, history (especially ancient and medieval), philosophy and fantasy (Inklings). Dogcat person. Lofi Girl. Spicy food. Long walks in nature.

Stanisław Lem i know him, is a classic. But didnt read anything yet from him.
Did you like "Modified Carbon"? it was interesting but didnt finish it due to external factors.
Trasibulo - Thrasybulus? Are you Italian? hahah sorry i didnt know how to translate to English, kinda complicated it, from Spain. Why u dont like Napoleon? Ye he went mad and Russia was complete disaster.
With both i guess! I just hate majority of animes go normal and then the boy protagonist has to be a sexual pervert or something like that and all the girls that appear need to be mid-naked or hyper sexualized with XXXL tits like a harem or something. Is not I dont like it. I hate it.
And often they are intellectual/psychological mysteries fun to solve. Me too. Though sometimes i feel the plot plays with us hahah. Paprika blowned my mind.
What do u do for a living?
I've read Neuromancer, too... mateee hahaha. Classics of SCI-FI or other genre u mean? Im open to read anything that is good, closest to cyberpunk i would say maybe Nerumonacer, Ubik? Or Richard Morgan. Favs genres are fantasy and sci-fi and history.
So you like study warfare strategies? Not in an academic way but i really like to see how militar conflicts develop. What generals did, if there were other alternatives etc.
It is consistent with your profile :) Do you have favourite general or war? Thats a very good question. My knowledge is kinda ethnocentric unfortunately. But i wonder what personality did some specific persons had , for example Hideyoshi in Japan (to a simple commoner to ruling Japan) Julius Caesar. In Peloponnese War Trasibulo, Napoleon i like it but is not my favourite. Is a very good question, i should have a thought on that.
Mmm i just want good dialogues, good plot, good character development and good music. If also you add some action, militar strategy and political intrigues u got me.
But right now atm im not watching anything. I feel my taste is kinda "solid" right now. A little bit disappointed with some of community in general , but what i was expecting? I dont go well along with ecchi harem or things like that and i dont go well along with people who lives, dies and comment also on anime. Theres more than that.
Seems to me you dont like pple to get murdered or suffer much. in series and os on
Suprised you read Amber series!! You are really from 1976? xD
Lord if Light i started reading and it was a lot of methaphysical ahaha i need to read it again cause i left in the middle. Not because i dislike it, but other life resaons.
If u wanna something to blow up ur mind then Neuromancer of William Gibson
But if u are really from 1976 i guess u are the one who will do the recommendations from now on hahaha
Ancient in general. I would say that Roman and Greece cause we know more about them. There are more records. I like also the first civilizations but feel we dont have that much info ;(( (for example on who they really were the People from the Sea on Bronze Collapse) And i specially like war strategy, so Kings and Generals YT channel is a must for me haha
Made in Abyss has a little part of persons dying, but mostly cause their own will or external forces (world or human action). I like the anime cause apart from other things, you keep the mistery and the glory on discovering almost a new world. But as far good or epic or enthusiastic discovering a new land might be, it also has it risks.
Do u feel ur taste has change that much since u start watching anime , and , do u think it has stabilize for the time being?
The Location is from a saga of Books from Roger Zelazny called the 9 Princes of Amber. I really love to read fantasy and this saga i really like it. I recommend if you like fantasy genre. Its easy to read, short books (100-200 pags), and I like the construction of the world of the author. Also recommend from R. A. Salvatore: Homeland.
I love history. I almost studied it in University so xD. I prefer Ancient but as long i know more and more from a particular period, the more i like it. Medieval is also pretty nice. You have a very concrete taste hehe
ACCA-13 i did like it but i didnt get the point that good. I saw you put it a 10. I have to admit that i watched very quick (like in 1-2 days) and in 1,5xspeed. And on the other side we differ on LOGH hehe
On animes, im not that into comedy hehehe, i would recommend you the following:
Kaiji (This one is on my top5) And it has apart from the main anime a comedy part, like a parody on: Chuukan Kanriroku Tonegawa
86 (Intense Drama)
91 Days (Like The Godfather but in anime, more or less)
Death Note (this is mandatory to watch)
Hunter x Hunter (adventure, easy to watch and entertaining, also good. Similar to FMAB, though FMAB is more serious)
Made in Abyss (discovering a world in the underground)
Parasyte (i really liked this one in my youth, i strongly recommend)
Ping Pong the Animation (good story, only 12 episodes, and the visuals... just for the visuals is worth it. )
Terra e... (TV) (Hidden gem)
Yakusoku no Neverland (escape from a prison)
If you'd like to watch some romance animes this season, then try these instead:
Douse, Koishite Shimaunda. (Complete Shojo Romance)
Kono Kaisha ni Suki na Hito ga Imasu (Real Life Situation Romance)
Kuroiwa Medaka ni Watashi no Kawaii ga Tsuujinai (Extremely Cute Vibes)
I checked, and you're already watching this one (which is a Rom-Com):
Kisaki Kyouiku kara Nigetai Watashi
I hope this helps :)
How about you?
Will make sure to watch Weathering with you in the future! With cameos form Mitsuha amd Taki, it's almost as it's giving a bit more closure to the end of the movie! Thank you for the recommendation, I think I will enjoy it a lot!
But first, I'll need to "digest" these feelings that Kimi no Na wa gave me for some time. Such a beautiful movie, really.
This movie ends up also being really relatable somehow, and that might explain why so many different people like it!
Happy New Year for you too! I hope the year started in the best way possible!
My Christmas was like a whirlwind of chaos and disappointments. It was like I had a front-row seat to the circus and every act was an absolute letdown.
As for novels I only have a look at the ones that get drama adaptations.
I am not such a huge fan of novels as I'm of anime, it's because I don't have the money to buy books and also I don't like reading digital versions.
Any particular anime you're looking forward to this winter 2025?
I will watch like 30 new seasonal as always so it's difficult for me to cherry pick them.
Speaking of plants and forest I think Finland is the most forested country in the world with many lakes and hills ?
I think Finland paints a picture similar to the anime natsume youjinchou for me..
May be
Harold Holt's Disappearance: Did he really drown, or was he abducted by aliens and is he living it up with Elvis somewhere? Theories abound!
Mystery Writers from Down Under:
Jane Harper: Her atmospheric stories like The Dry are sure to keep you hooked.
Liane Moriarty: Not just for TV adaptations like Big Little Lies—her books are popular here too.
And as for your Christmas plans, it sound like you had festive mix of culinary magic and retro films. While everyone else is home alone, you're busy preventing Hans Gruber from ruining your Christmas! Yippee-ki-yay! 😎🎄
I hope you Enjoyed your holiday prep and movie marathon.
After reading the messages, I will reply here.
I'm from Australia, where occultic conspiracy theories are never far. Lol
My tastes have changed over the years, now I sway away from the dark mysteries, psychological thrillers and true crimes.
I need the lighthearted moments and comedy.
I want you to watch sakurako San investigations live-action, the final 2 episodes. The anime doesn't show sakurako catching the butterfly bone collector mastermind. It's revealed in the live-action.
There are more live-action adaptation of mystery manga than anime adaptations.
I always watch those BBC mystery series and hallmark mystery specials, it has become a Christmas tradition for me.
So what's your plan for the holidays? I suppose it's not just binge-watching anime and mystery drama and sports, like myself? Happy holidays
Kamonohashi Ron is such a fun character! His goofy side is totally ridiculously funny and that adds comedy to the anime . It's awesome to see a bit of myself in him—embracing that playful side make my life a lot more enjoyable. Ron’s character is a perfect mix of comedy with brilliant Deductive reasoning and a mysterious past. All that makes me look forward to new episode every week.
Undead Girl Murder Farce—now that's a ultimate anime crossover ! Imagine having a lineup with Sherlock Holmes, Arsène Lupin, phantom of opera, Dorian Gray, Frankenstein, James Moriarty, werewolves and Count Dracula all in one anime. It's like the ultimate battle of wits and supernatural showdowns rolled into one epic saga. The mix of classic literary legends from old novels and anime flair makes it a perfect crossover mystery,
I've watched the live-action drama knocking on locked doors by the same author..
I really love mysteries, doesn't matter which media.
What are some of Your favorite mystery series? It can be in any media not just anime Manga.
Oh may be you got stories from mystery novels of Poland that I don't know about..
Please to meet you. I am a willing talker so hoping you'll talk to me.
Coincidentally, I've seen much spicier scenes in both manga & anime, yet I think that this one was my first as well.
Viva La Anime Sisters 💪😂
