Kimi wa Meido-sama.

One day, Hitoyoshi Yokoya wakes up to a mysterious nameless girl dressed as a maid ringing his doorbell, asking to be his servant. With her former master referring her to the Yokoya household, she offers her expertise as an assassin. Intimidated by her background, Hitoyoshi tries to send her away; but when she leaves something behind, he rushes to return it to her and is nearly hit by a truck in the process. With her fast reflexes, the girl saves him just in time, and Hitoyoshi ends up taking her in.

Ironically, the maid lacks any skills apart from the art of killing she has perfected since childhood. Nevertheless, Hitoyoshi welcomes the girl with open arms, encouraging her to leave her monochromatic past behind and experience a normal life. To seal the deal, Hitoyoshi names her Yuki, marking the beginning of her path to redemption and happiness.

Preliminary (4/12 eps)

This anime introduces us to a stunning heroine meido who seems flawless in every way. She’s not only intelligent and tall but also incredibly skilled, making her the epitome of perfection. However, she has one amusing quirk: she’s hopeless when it comes to household chores. This small imperfection makes her character feel more relatable, adding a charming twist to her otherwise immaculate persona.

cheerful and loving younger sister brings a fresh, lively energy to the story. Her presence is a welcome relief during intense moments, lightening the mood and breaking any tension between the heroine and the main character. This sister character balances the anime's tone ... wonderfully, keeping it engaging and preventing it from becoming too serious or monotonous.

The animation is exceptionally well-done, with fluid character movements (and some impossible movements like high jumping among building) and a color palette that is easy on the eyes, enhancing the viewing experience. Every scene flows smoothly, and the colors are both vivid and soothing, making it a pleasure to watch. This attention to detail in the animation elevates the story, making this anime an absolute delight.

i've read the manga, it's not bad tho and all scenes is same as in manga (the execution is so good), but idk why 16 y.o main character is couple with 21 y.o killer maid brah (it should me, not him), even tough the story is generic ( you know like 2010-2015 anime ), but with this animation, all those thoughts disappear. and WHY ALL FEMALE CHARACTERS IS SO CHARMING AND QUALITY OF THE ANIMATION IS SO GOOD

Mixed Feelings

Preliminary (3/12 eps)

I've always wanted to have a beautiful maid at home—specifically one that can, you know, murder people without hesitation. The premise of this anime is just that! A boy living alone ends up with a maid who has a dark, assassin-filled past and zero skills outside of eliminating targets. They try to get along, and there’s definitely potential for a romantic angle as she learns the art of caring rather than stabbing... a heartwarming journey, right?

After watching the first three episodes, my initial impression is that the boy is as flat as a cardboard cutout—no depth whatsoever. So, it's pretty clear the focus will be ... on the maid, her backstory, and her growth. Honestly, she feels a bit like the mother from Spy x Family, minus the whole family dynamic, of course.

When it comes to the visuals and sound, this anime is about as average as they come. As for originality, let’s be real—assassin maids are practically a genre of their own at this point, so it's not exactly groundbreaking. If you’re into assassin maids and the boy’s fantasy of a hot, protective maid, this might be up your alley. But if you’re looking for a deeper romantic comedy with solid character development, this might not hit the mark. Expect a mix of entertaining episodes and some slower fillers—it’s going to be a rollercoaster of enjoyment and, well, the occasional painful stretch.

Mid slice of life at best.
Let me keep this review short a brief, as there's not much to review for this anime other than it being NOT a comedy, but generally just a wholesome slice of life with comedy theming. The type (1 male 1 female MCs live tgt wholesomely, and one of them overcome some kind of burden) that have been done to death by thousands of show before, so this is just another ok one to the addition.

Recommend for: Slice of life, wholesome, chill
Not Recommend for: "comedy", character

FULL REVIEW:
First of all, let me say that this anime listing as a ... comedy is kind of a lie. It felt more like a slice of life much more. The comedy do exist but just radiate through the atmosphere, how the character interact with each other lightly, and not in a serious tone.

This anime work best as a slice of life. As it's literally mostly about living a life in a house, with a "maid" assassin. This anime overall actually have a light theme, and is very wholesome. So I would recommend this anime if you want something to heal you with wholesome, chill, and calm energy. Even the little "fan service" we got is wholesome and cute kind.

Do not mind/look forward to the gimmick too much. The gimmick of an assassin maid, while do come into play most of the time through her character, won't be that eye catching or inquiring to follow through. At best it does flavor her personality more.

Character are actually pretty straight forward, and 1 dimensional. All character can be describe with just 1 sentence, even the MCs for the moment. So would not recommend for that. Like I can tell you right now the fmc trait is basically "Shy assassin girl that never experienced the world". They try shoving her sad back story too much down your throat, and I think it backfired as now it's her only personality.

Lastly, the production quality is ok at best, pretty average, more toward to lower end for a comedy or a slice of life show. Plus with the directing is ok and average for a comedy or slice of life as well.

I think my review this time is short enough to warrant a tldr conclusion, so that's it.
If you want something kind of similar to this, I would recommend "Mission: Yozakura Family" for basically is this show but better.
So the only reason I would watch this is if you want to kill some time in the background, some wholesome healing family energy, or that the female MC character visual design carry this show by that much.
