Its kinda like the Eminence in Shadows if he wasn't over powered.

I am happy this anime doesn't have an unnecessary isekai setup. The MC is not from another world for no reason.

Krai despite not having any real talent for adventuring somehow came to be seen as the greatest adventurer of all time. Leader of the greatest team of adventurers Grieving Souls.
And as much as he tries to get out he gets pulled back in by those around him who sees him as something he's not.

I enjoy the setup.
Its a fun anime with fun characters. Especially the goudere Tino who sees ... her master Krai as the greatest thing ever, and would do anything for his approval, and beat up anyone who'd speak badly of him.
She is designed for sex-appeal, not gonna lie, but her fun personality is what makes the character work.

There are only 3 episodes at the time of writing so this anime may go on to become great...or awful, who knows.
But I think it has a lot of potential, if it focuses on having fun with its setup.

"Nageki no Bourei wa Intai Shitai" starts with an interesting premise but doesn't do much to stand out in the crowded fantasy genre. Our protagonist is a seemingly weak, average guy who somehow ends up leading the most powerful clan in the world. But don’t expect any intense battles or showy magic from him—he relies entirely on "Relics" (magical artifacts) to get the job done. Think of him as the guy who uses gadgets and tricks rather than brute force, which is a nice change ... from the typical OP hero trope.

Synopsis:
From the get-go, the main character shows zero interest in getting involved in conflict. His laid-back, "I’d rather not be here" attitude sets the tone for the series. Over the first three episodes, you see him trying to avoid getting involved in any serious battles, but fate—or perhaps just bad luck—keeps pulling him into situations he’d rather avoid. It’s a classic "reluctant hero" setup, but instead of being thrilling, it’s more of a slow burn.

First Impressions:
To be blunt, the first three episodes are average at best. The protagonist’s avoidance of conflict is initially amusing, but it wears thin quickly when nothing else steps up to grab your attention. The action is minimal, the story progression feels sluggish, and the characters—so far—are as bland as they come. You can predict their every move, and none of them have any standout qualities that make you want to root for them.

Sometimes, these types of shows take a bit to hit their stride, and I’m hoping that’s the case here. Other times, they fizzle out completely, and that’s a real possibility with this one. We’ve seen anime like this flip the script and become unexpectedly great halfway through, but based on these first episodes, it’s hard to tell if "Nageki no Bourei wa Intai Shitai" will follow that trend or continue to tread water.

Final Thoughts:
For now, it’s an average anime with not much to brag about. If you’re a patient viewer who’s willing to stick around to see if it picks up, you might find some enjoyment here. If not, you won’t miss much by passing on this one. Here’s hoping it surprises us down the line, but for now, it’s firmly in the “meh” category.

TLDR: Everyone is unbearable, or at least not likable. The story is: "The MC stumbled into success, but in secret, he is actually ..." but the author forgot everything after the comma.

I watched the first four episodes, so my review/option is based on what happened in these episodes.

The animation quality is fine and the art style is pretty average.

The problem is that everybody is not likable.
The MC is shown as somebody who stumbled into fame and success. Usually, such an MC has a hidden talent justifying his success. Here he is actually just a floundering idiot. He is not strong, does not possess a ... unique ability and is also bad at managing others or reading a room or situation. He doesn't actually pay attention, can not read other's intentions, and does not really plan what he is doing.
So to still make him the leader, everybody else must be even dumber or crazier.
This leads to a cast of characters unable to see things how they are, judge situations correctly, and often make illogical decisions so that the MC can make it out on top.

This premise would have lent itself well for a comedy type of show, but unfortunately, it seems the show was meant to be serious. But you can't take it seriously as nothing people do makes sense

I don't know what the idea of the author was here. Maybe I missed something, but from what I've seen it didn't pan out.
