Ah, well that's cool, I mean I love anime too lol, if you got the time to watch that much, I see no reason not to lol. I got fall break right now so I'm like watching a lot too right now I think, but I personally get pretty tired if I'm watching a lot of anime over a long period of time lol. Occasionally I take some days where I binge a lot of anime and then stop for a few days or weeks and then binge a lot again, but usually I just watch like 2-3 episodes a day, because anything more would be too much and less would be not enough. I was just kinda impressed tbh, very fitting user I'd say lol. Also are you still in college or are you already finished?

309 anime in less than 2 years is kinda crazy

honestly, me personally I think this was a weak season but I seem to be in the minority and most seemed to love it. Baki in general is great tho, I'd even recommend going back and watching the older ones that aren't on netflix, they're all worth the watch tho!

the AoT lore can defo be confusing at times. I'm not gonna be able to type out a breakdown or anything but plenty of those types of posts exist online, might be better to avoid those til it's fully aired and you've seen it all tho as it might cover manga spoilers. A lot in AoT is a mystery as well that gradually unpacks as it goes on. It's defo a show I wouldn't recommend watching paying half attention haha.

yeah and anything that hasn't aired yet in your PTW, you should be notified when it starts airing. So say for example you're watching jjk s2, when/if s3 is announced you'd get a notif when it's added to database, then once u add it to your PTW, you'd get notified again when it eventually starts airing.
While I do like action, and tend to watch a lot of shows that are action heavy, I watch a lot of different stuff and don't think I particularly "need" action to enjoy it.

I think it's built into MAL if a new season of something you've watched comes out, you'll be notified, at least I am? If you're not maybe take a look at your settings. The recommendation system of MAL certainly isn't the best, but can be worth glancing over your favourite shows to see what other users thought it similar to. It is definitely hard to stay up to date! My advice would just be to watch what's giving you the most enjoyment or you're most in the mood for. Occasionally get a huge catch-up binge in for stuff you feel behind on when you have a day or two free. At least that's the way I try to do it! I do often end up watching a lot of older anime and behind on the newer stuff I like, then have to try and play catch up haha.
I did watch Violet Evergarden, but honestly I don't think it was my kind of show, it was okay but I can't say I'd recommend it to someone or rewatch it. That's just my tastes tho, I watched enough to know I could be getting a lot more enjoyment out of something else.

ah that's a shame about spoilers, they've always been hard to avoid online, I imagine it's much worse now on anime tiktoks,reels etc. I'd recommend anything airing you're into get to as soon as u can before the spoilers get on there, and avoid any manga content about something u might wanna one day watch the anime for. At least with more niche/lesser known anime, you're less likely to be/get spoiled!

Enjoy it while u can! just in case you haven't heard of them u should take a look at Air Gear, Gurren Lagann & Cowboy Bebop consider maybe adding them to your PTW if you like the look of them! They're all favs of mine & relatively short too!

ah if you only recently started I wouldn't bother with Boruto, especially if you're not enjoying it. Stick to stuff you're really enjoying and into from the get go!

ah yes, I'm also struggling to get through Boruto, after having easily watched and rewatched all 900+ eps of Naruto & Shippuden haha. So the motivation to watch it is definitely a lot less, but I'm such a big fan that I will keep trying and squeeze in eps here and there and hope I eventually catch up. So I can at least have a fair opinion on it having given it more than a fair shot! It's honestly a shame as Boruto had so much potential to be great, there are parts that are enjoyable, I just wish it was a better experience.
