Hello all! My name is Curly, and I have been watching anime ever since I was a kid, but I've only been tracking it since 2020. My favorite genres/themes are Mystery, Suspense, Drama, and Horror. My favorite themes are Psychological, Adult Cast, Detective, Organized Crime, High Stakes Game, and Survival. I don't prefer isekai, harem, sports, or romance, but there will always be exceptions, and I watch all genres. When it comes to romance I prefer GL/BL.
I am a 20 year old university student majoring in English. I speak English and some Spanish, and I know some basic Japanese. I'm more positive than I am negative. I find I am much happier focusing on the good parts rather than the bad. No anime is perfect but I still dish out 10s if I feel the flaws don't detract enough from what makes it fantastic.
Besides anime I am also really into video games and animation from anywhere else in the world. I only recently started tracking manga on here, so it is not perfectly up-to-date.
Movies aren't included in my favorite anime anymore, but when they were, Kiki's Delivery Service and A Silent Voice were inlcuded.
7-10 is a good rating, 6/5 is a very mixed rating, and 4 and below is a bad rating. But that's just my opinion. I try to rate based on quality and not just personal feelings, but there can never be a truly objective rating of anything.
I like to write reviews, but please take everything I say in them with a grain of salt. They are just my personal thoughts and some of them are much more thought out and researched than others.
I am opinionated, but open to other people's opinions. Nothing can be truly objective and I know every anime is someone's favorite, even if it's not mine, and I think that's beautiful. I think it's good to be friends with people who disagree with you. If everyone agreed all the time, the world would be very boring. Always remember, it's just a story!

Yeah I noticed you made an interest stack of natural disasters and I'd like to suggest the film "Muumindani no Suisei" which features a comet impact, with secondary effects like a severe drought.
Your opinion is explained beautifully maybe I should give this series a second try and analyse it more closely ;))

in all the years ive been an anime fan, I never knew TWINCEST was a thing, the degeneracy of anime tropes never fails to amaze me, welp, you learn something new everyday. Also, whats the point of having the shota character in anime with a teenage girl as the mc aimed at a female teenage audience? im not aware of any culture where girls within that age group are ever attracted to younger boys, in a lot of cases not even guys their age, that one I just dont get the logic of at all.

Ngl, ive never seen this show but at some point ive considered watching it because the girl looked cute in her tomboyish character design (something about her seemed diff), you do praise her in your review but my conclusion is that its an anime I should stay as far away from as possible, and honestly I think her positive traits would be spoiled from watching her crushing on a guy that pathetic, like why does she surround herself with low-tier males if shes so cool, the choice to surround yourself with certain ppl is a reflection of your character at the end of the day. Your review was a nice read, I like your sense of humour.
