Welcome to Hell
Hello, I've been watching anime since 2018 and I still feel kinda new to the community somehow. I mostly watch anime, not really interested in manga/light novels. I fw Mushoku Tensei, I've rewatched it 6 times. I love Bleach haven't fully read the manga but I know mostly everything and a lot of the small details, love the way Kubo hints at everything without fully telling us.

After looking through you mal list to see which anime you haven't watched, I came up with some list that I think you might like.
Here are some of my recommendation.
If you like something that is shonen and adventures with well written characters and story.
If you like something that has drama, beautiful story, and one of the best well written characters.
If you like science fiction or apocalyptic based setting then this
Or something that bring peace.
But i am planning to watch jojo bizarre adventure.
Im a bit of a firm believer that sometimes stories, characters, arcs, and underlying messages are often over-interpreted by fans however the author may have just created whatever it may be without thinking in that sense. I guess one that recently was proved by Aoyama being the traitor in MHA, there was of over specialization on the "traitor" and it turned out to be a lot dimmer then the audience intially figured. Thats the feeling that the full-bringer arc gives me. Also when i initially watched the anime i thought it was filler and bore myself through it. I also believe that the anime portrayed the arc better then the manga, for what it animated up till.
Aizen has a large fanbase, and brigning up his character means your opinion getting run down by fanboys. Im not a fan aswell as i mentioned before,
Gingjo turning his back on ichigo after helping him devop fullbring and revivitilize his strength but afterwards taking it was a hudge turning point. However I disagree, it is not the first time we see ichigo break, but possibly the first time he devlops ture awareness, as he sortve matured enough to understand he wants to protect those around him. I understand what you mean by "break" i suppose but judging by how you used that term to describe ichigos state. there were other instances were he had no-one to reply on except himself. Most fights he has had it was him against the opponent.
In comprehensive of your description but i think the fullbringer arc was more-so a development arc, it was a great transition.
I also beileve the TYBW was great at reintroducing characters but my main issue was that Kubo brought them back. They had their time. IM not a fan of that concept but i know others are. TO me it felt like reviving characters back from the dead.
Its good to see you shed light on the importance of the arc, its just a personal opinion, im not a big fan of bleach as i believed i specific, since im a Seinen fan my tastes are a lot different. But it was good. Plus i am in agreeance, alot of the hints were given through context clues and not outright said, which is why i think alot of people dislike bleach. Since they are unable to understand the indepth meaning behind scenes and their purpose.
Some of those foreshadowing i never actually noticed, thats really interesting actually, i had a really hard time understanding the relationships adn story shared by Zangetsu and white Ichigo, or hollow ichigo i think?
Ill defiantly watching some Video essays, i would definitely help me better understand some of the arcs. Plus there were some characters i could not understand, for one being Aizen. I undderstand his intentions to a certain extent. For me Aizens character is like Sasuke, where their actions are understandable but its just so idiotic in some ways. Im taking Aizen character a bit seriously but ill try to understand it.
Im actually a big fan of bleach as much as im ashamed to say. My rating system is all over the place, but ill have to change that. I would definitely give the anime a 6/10, now that i finished the manga a few weeks ago. The manga i would rate a 7/10 though, as good as it is it just makes me want to headbang in the randomest ways. Bleach is amazing, yes but its not near peak fiction, but it has amazing aspects. I hated the fullbringer arc, i thought it was filler when i watched the anime. Also hate how they brought back all of the OG characters from each arc back, as good as it was it felt wrong in ways, their time was passed yk?
The only reason I love bleach are the wide range of characters. The story and pacing is one of the most 2000's shonen genre-esc pacing ive ever seen. I actually hated everything about bleach when i watched the anime and came to enjoy the medium when reading it. For example Ulquiorra, kenpachi, and basaiclly every other side character whose backstories weren't shown.
To answer your question, yes the manga is superior i need to change that. In all it is also the superior medium, and i genuinely hate reading manga.
Plus yes you are correct, while i was writing up my rationale, to why he is mischaracterized, in terms of the way others target their hatered towards him. yea my opinion did change alot after researching about his canon feelings in the animanga. While i was typing and researching i came across his wife, and it said he killed her out "pity", like when you lose feelings for someone and want them dead. I have seen both the Anime, and manga when i was 13-15 so i think thats why i didnt acknowledge what it meant.
The orignal 2003 version, doesnt have filler (it does), its a completely different story midway through the series, it takes half of the canon parts and fuses a unique storyline. Actually i watched the original first, and as an avid fan i rewatched the 2003 ver. twice.
I think my opinion was forged because i didn't know the way he actually felt during the transmutations of his wife and NINA. Instead i interpreted his character in a way most people didnt, i mightve also overanalyzed to a personal degree.
It helps if you've seen the 2003 FMA version, in it Shou tucker had traumuated his daughter as in the in the newer version however, afterwards he also turned himself into one as well. After realizing the consequences of his actions, he was desperate to find a way to turn her back to normal, he used himself as a test subject in order to find a cure. Also nina is dead in the this ver. he deliberatley asks ED for the stone to resurrect her, so he did "care".
As a character I interpreted Shou tucker as a mentally ill father who could not distinguish right from wrong and intended to combine two parts of his life that were dear to him (and the dog the girl loved) into a chimera. I have witnesed schizophrenia and other mental illnesses first hand they were very similar to him so what i have to say might be different. Humans tend to act upon our intrusive thoughts and realizing the consequences later and regretting it. In the spir of the moment he had a deadline, and made her into a chimera, i interpreted it in a way that it was his last resort. The traumutation was not done out of fear or regret (it canonically was) instead due to delirium; a lack of awareness, like panicked and did the first thing that came to his mind. Shou in the end killed both of them, him and his daughter. I guessed he regretted his actions, this is called a "mercy kill" Nina way in pain so he relieved herself from it. In the process killed himself for what he had done, he then realize it was wrong and killed both in hopes to redeem himself.
Most hate him b/c he transmuted his daughter, which ended in her death and eternal suffering for the duration she was a chimera. But i feel he was mischaracterized because hyperactive delirium in not being able to tell right from wrong, easier to understand what i mean if you've faced chronic anxiety. I feel like that aspect of him is relatable. Note he is not my favourite character at all, but i love his character because i find it corespondent to people are are ludicrous in RL. Even if a person is "normal" everyone can relate to the factor of doing something LIFE-CHANGING, and regretting, or doing something drastic to fix it although it'll never go back to normal.
I interpreted his actions as loving nina as to combine it with something else he was passionate with, turns out it wasn't but yea. Also i did some research and found out he actually transmuted his wife as well, i thought she left him so he started drinking, and losing a sense of self. I actually take back my argument a bit, i did some research on him as im writing this but yea thats why i did put him up there. Not a favourite, but i have found him interesting from the day i watched it. I have rewatched he 2003 version twice, the FMAB once, and shou tucker is alot different in the the 2003 ver. He shows he cared alot more, it actively shows himself attempting to do anything to fix her. I know its not cannon at all but the 2003 version of him is actually depressing to the point you sortve sympathize. Also i feel like the mood and setting make the veiwer try to feel bad for him, idk it worked for me but also for the reason i mentioned in this "arguement". I wont fight you if you reply with why hes a bad character to this, just defending my point before i get douched. I found him to be such an interesting character but after finding out that what he did was actually did was becuase he lacked remorse i change my opinion.
I never picked up on the ques of what he actually did mb, ill have to do some more research
Also, thanks 😊
