I watched my fair share share of Neighbors and Home and Away, when I was a kid :)
Someone you played league with? You mean rugby league? I played a bit of amateur rugby in my schooldays.
I currently reside in northern England, but was born in Scotland and grew up in Wales. I am half Middle Eastern though - just to let you know ;)
I liked how the drama/melodrama was really ratcheted up a gear with the start of Season 4 - and I thought Gabi was a character who elicited a lot of strong reactions and brought something new to the dynamic of the main story. I also thought those very, very final episodes (there were a lot of finals lol) were sometimes confusing, overblown, and had too much going on. It would have been cool if it had followed a less is more approach, and was more drama and dialogue focused. All those clone titans (emerging from the giant Eren titan) reminded me of the white Zetzu clones from Naruto Shippuden, and was total over-saturation - like it depreciated what we had seen up to that point, and the 'impact' the 7 special titans had. At the same time, I thought the conclusion was OK (Levi giving sweets to the kids made me smile), and there was some touching pathos/poignancy with the very final Mikasa scenes, sitting under the tree having her scarf blown - by a gust of wind that might have been Eren's ghost...or, it might have been a little bird that gave the scarf a tug. I've only see the very last episode once, but whatever it was that tugged the scarf, it was quite an emotionally touching and affecting moment.
I'm just waiting for a reprise of the franchise - like a farming drama featuring Gabi and Falco :)
