STORY:
Link wants to rescue Tetra after she got captured by a ghost ship. It's like many other hero stories where the hero is on a journey and needs to overcome a couple of obstacles, with a main goal of rescuing someone. Not very original, but it may still be entertaining. I still think this makes this its own story in a good way.
ART:
This Zelda toon style may look a bit childish, but don't make this stop you from engaging it. I scored this 7 because I think there could be some small improvements. The details are simple, and nothing out of the ordinary. When adapting
...
to this unique art you forget that it looks childish and just keep reading.
CHARACTER:
Link's personality in the games has always been pretty hard to read, as he may be perceived a bit stoic and emotionless. In this manga, though, he acts kind of unexpected. Here he has courage and want to do things and is pretty much of an optimist; there's always a way to get out of a trap or a narrow situation.
The other characters are pretty easy to follow and you feel like you're in the manga experiencing all the stuff that they're doing, which means the author succeeds on making them feel real. However, there's nothing out of the ordinary.
ENJOYMENT:
I've mentioned some enjoyable moments in this manga already. The story, art and characters are good. It all fits together and makes something nice and enjoyable. All chapters' endings are really something that makes you want to continue reading. "Exciting" is the word.
OVERALL:
If you want to read something funny and enjoyable, then give this a go. It's pretty short and it doesn't feel like a waste of time. I couldn't find any big negative things in it but the cliche story. Just to mention something: the fights could've been extracted a bit.
Anyway, it's a good or decent manga and it makes me want to play the game it's based on.
