Preliminary Spoiler

It's an innocent and refreshing story of childhood friendship, add the whole Nekota's-face-is-a-cat thing and it becomes really interesting. I also like how they don't go too fast to romance, considering that they are in elementary school, so far it's a PG story I would recommend to any age.

The story was unique for me. It was told continuously, with a few flashbacks here and there, but they didn't add confusion to the story. It didn't feel rushed for me because you can slowly see the growth of the characters as you continue with the story. It wasn't necessarily too simple or too complicated. You can understand everything and yet still be enthralled by the story. I stumbled upon this manga while looking for good mystery manga to read. Although it's mostly comedy, romance, and school life, the mystery of as to why only Amane sees Nekota's head as a cat head keeps you ...

I love this story! It's so fresh and original for an elementary school setting shoujo manga. The mood, in a way, is reminiscent of CCS and Kodocha for me. Feel-good, sweet, innocent elementary school romance. And I love how the mangaka decided to tease the readers that Mikiko isn't the only one who sees Nekota with a cat's head. It really does make us curious about Nekota and how we can't help ourselves but be curious. Looking forward more updates (and hopefully this gets licensed so I can get my own copies).

I do hope that before the end of the series that somewhere, in some ...

What do you get when you combine cotton candy and bubblegum with some comedy and a boy with a cat's head? Nekota no Koto ga Ki ni Natte Shikatanai of course!

*This is a spoiler free review*

This is a super cute comedy series centering around transfer student Mikki who tries to solve the mystery of Nekota's appearance and at the same time gets tangled up with the affairs of her other school mates as well. The story consists of two parts. The elementary school arc acts as an introduction to the cast and explores the concept of friendship in different ways. The second part starts when ...

This anime is so cute! The story is unique as well. You will never think the main character of the story sees a cat for a human. It's totally out of imagination. The art style is very well drawn. Even though 49 chapters may seem a lot, it's worth it. The ending is sooo worth the wait. When you read the manga, you want to keep on reading. The author has a wild imagination that we may never know what happens next. This manga, specifically, is soo innocent. Like it gives you that elementary school vibe. However, even though it does feel elementary school the ...

Story: 10/10
Ok... the premise is a little bit weird BUT that's also partly why I love it so much. It's something a little bit different from your usual shoujo romance manga. The story is really fun and has some great comedic moments in it. There were no issues with pacing for me and the mystery never felt dragged out as we were given small hints along the way which were enough to keep me satisfied with not knowing for a little while longer.

Art: 9/10
The art style is wonderful. It's playful and fun and I think it would definitely stand the test of time. My only ...

Since I'm really into young love and extroverted female protagonist, I became a good fan of this manga.

I will admit in the begging I did not like Amane but the story made me love her more and all the characters equally so that's another reason why I love this manga. I also like that the author still adds characters that left and come back for memorable moments that changed the story and they're not forgotten or just drop-ins. I'm really happy I read this and if you're into shoujo then you could get into this just like I did.

The story is about a 6th grader who is prone to moving schools every year moves to a special elementary school where the MMC has a cat fact. Not a cat like face. An actual cat face. Not a hot yokai who has trouble wearing clothes for some reason. Just a normal cat face on a human body. Only she can see this however, the rest including the MMC finds her reactions odd. Now she tries to figure out why she can see that. Now we have a romance story. Of course the romance doesn't start till volume 6 but i'll get to that.

The character, ...

Mixed Feelings
*Minor spoiler ahead*

Just an average manga. I don't quite understand how the rating made it to the 8. The main girl is selfish and pushy, and unrealistically innocent. It is almost comical how much she "just wants to be friends with everyone", to the point of desperately clinging on to that ideal. I get that she's supposed to be young and innocent, but the level to which she doesn't know things and the absolute lack of self-awareness is laughable. It also just fell into the trope of love polygon, which is a very unoriginal way of portraying relationships. It dragged on right until the end. ...
