Both are shonen manga with some variety of historical/underdeveloped setting, with main characters aiming to better the world around them through the application of some variety of science, while being supported by strong fighters. Both also feature plots with clashes of ideologies as a central theme.

Both MCs have received some sort of mission from their fathers, that is not appreciated by those in power. The MC lived a life away from normal society or at the very bottom of it. Luckily they have some trusted friends to keep standing up against the unfavorable tides.

Both MCs are smart people with a special ability to aid wounded or sick people very carefully and respectfully, using any means possible, with less regard for themselves than for the patients. <> The heretic hunt is worse in Asklepios than Isekai Yakkyoku <> Isekai Yakkyoku does not have the more depressing atmosphere as Asklepios does.

Asklepios doesn't have the supernatural element. But it share with KSØ the lead who seems like a slacker but really wants to help people even if much of the time he's treated with suspicion. Also has the female assistant who can use her physical strengths to help the lead.

These are both done bye the same author, and have similar art styles. If you like one you will probibly like the other.

They are both about doctors practicing modern medicine during the middle ages/Edo time period. One doesn't explain the procedure being performed wrong 9 out of 10 times and wasn't cancelled after about 20 chapters though...

Both series deal with medical issues, while TMD is a more serious and realistic manga, Asklepios is a typical shounen manga (although it deals with medical issues), some situations are based on same diseases or the sort.

Both are short, more or less episodic series about a doctor with unusual talents. Both are rather light-hearted, although Asklepios takes a comparatively serious approach and lacks Saori's fondness for comedic violence and gag genre.
