Although Tenjou Tenge has a more serious story line, both are primarily martial arts manga with lots of ecchi.

Badass action, fighting schools.

Let's just say if you're looking breasts and butts and girls kicking ass with more blood and mature themes but not Hentai, try Tenjou Tenge the manga version. The TV version takes out all the nudity.

both are by oh great! similar type of comedy and art bolth main characters are delinquents but tenjho tenge is way more explict

Both are about fighting with supernatural powers, and they are similar somehow to each other

Okay similarities *Both Have a lot of action in both titles *Both have a high amount of fanservice *Both have Hot Blooded male lead, along with plenty of women (Nagi, Blade) *GAR in both (Manliness) I say that if you like Tenjou Tenge and wanted more action, then try Needless, if you read Needless and wanted a bit more of romance, try Tenge Tenge. Both are fun to read, and both have one hell of a ending.

about family with superpowers, and a fighting chick who will be turned into the waifu type by the male lead

Maya and Misaki are both strong, sexy and a leader. Mitsuomi= Usui Aloof, privileged, rich, abrassive and apparently great at everything they do. on One hand The girls have to face problems as a leader and as a person, while they look tough on the exterior, they often have a break down. eventhough they put in their best efforts in what they do, there is always a flaw(mistake) in what they do. The girls both have another guy who love them, but they choose to ignore because the guy is neither rich nor handsome. On  read more

Strong female fighters who guide and help the male protagonist. Amazing fighting scenes with great artwork that both manga's show throughout the narrative.

Both have a similar high school martial arts setting with super strong girls with special abilities, and loads...and I mean LOADS of ecchi in them. And considering how much trouble Rintaro has with Hentai Syndrome in his story, would he even survive in Tenjou Tenge?

Both have a similar high school martial arts setting with super strong girls with special abilities, and honestly it would be fun if a crossover between the two were to happen.

If you like High School Students Fighting then you would love both of these manga Both manga has high school student fighting to show how strong they really are in both MC they go to intense training to be the very best I recommend both manga

Two immensely strong, independent, but dense female protagonists. Both female leads come into contact with the male protagonist who they feel needs their protection. As the story progresses feelings become stronger between the two characters. Both manga's have a good comprehensive display of martial arts throughout the story.

I think the two mangas are quite similar. Both contain lots of bloody fights, more or less ecchi and the main characters look like bad guys at the first glance. And all the action is packed in very exciting storylines. (if you try samurai deeper kyo, you should read the manga. the anime sucks. they changed that much that it doesn't has too much in common with the manga anymore)

special powers, extreme fights, need to become stronger, elaborate plans, confusion between the good side and the bad side, right and wrong... protecting/fighting for someone dear... in a sum: lots of similarities between these two well drawn stories.

Both of these are high school based shounen action anime, theme on different types of fighting. B Reaction is just like how Tenge Tenjou is in the beginning, delinquent boy getting into random fights, but ends up falling for a stronger, hot, girl. ^_^

Both titles have a high school setting at the start but eventually reach beyond the school walls Both have a supposedly male lead character but are easily overshadowed by their more awesome and more interesting female companions Both have awesome female character designs and plenty of them Both have awesome artwork and focuses mostly on the pornstar like female characters. Although the difference is that HotD's artwork is consistently strong from the beginning to present whereas the artwork for Tenjo Tenge started out as a little lackluster at the beggining but as the mangaka managed to get more assistants, the artwork gradually improves Both have female schoolgirls in revealing  read more

Both manga about martial arts. And both manga have a lot of sexy girls. And in Tenjou Tenge main hero not so lame as in Change 123.

similar styling, fan service, and feel. Tenjou Tenge while it has it's funny part's still has a very serous story, If you were to toss that bit out you would have Battle club.
reportRecommended by kaigen
Both have a very confident protagonist who is guided by a girl on his initial journey. In addition, both have a nice art and cool battles.

Very similar opening story line. Both tenjou tenge and hanza sky have delinquents that join a martial arts club in their school. They start a fight with a member and then join after being trounced by a beautiful female member who saves her kouhai. That's where the similarities end however; and tenjou tenge diverges into a world of supernatural martial arts fighting. While hanza sky follows more of the path of other martial arts manga and has inter-high matches and focuses on personal growth kind of like full contact and karate shoukoushi kohinata minoru.
