Both are great gender bender stories. One takes a romance and ecchi approach while the other is just some boy whose sister turned him into a little girl.

I'm a major fan of Boku Girl so of course I tried finding manga similar to it in plot/themes all that. Tensei Pandemic is a very good pick if you want to read something like how Boku Girl was. The gender roles, sexuality, dysphoria, etc its interesting to see it portrayed in both of these together. Tensei focuses a lot more on the dysphoria aspect of suddenly switching genders but shows multiple character experiencing it compared to Boku Girl.

Both MCs are males that changed into females against their will

Both characters go through complete gender changes (MtF) and the stories focus on how they and those around them deal with these changes. The genderbender themes in both series were highly enjoyable to me so if you are looking for more of the same they are both worth checking out.

Both manga are about a boy's change into a girl, but in Fukigen Cinderella it's only for half a day. In Idol Pretender the protagonist turns into a girl by drinking some weird medicine which he wants to buy again, but it's incredible expensive. So he starts being an idol in order to earn money. He also meets his crush while work and gets closer to her. In Boku Girl the boy is turned into a girl by some evil being, so he can entertain it. He tries to hide it (only his BF knows)...

How could they not be similar?! Both are stories about a boy who is turned into a girl by some fantasy element: in "Boku Girl", it's from a bored God. In "Sekainohate de Aimashou", it's from a Alien Prince. Both involve a lot of panty shots and ecchi scenes with the now girls learning how to dress, act, bath and be women. Most of the panels are questionable actions of either falling on top of people, accidental gropings, gusts of wind flashing underwear, clothing being ripped, bathhouse scenes, etc, all fuel for the nose-bleeds. While "Sekainohate de Aimashou" has more of a story, as such, "Boku Girl"  read more

Both revolve around gender changes of the protagonists caused by gods. Boku Girl is much longer and explores a lot more aspects, but Tsukikage Moratorium was a nice and short twist of the Princess Kaguya tale.

Both series have similar themes: Both main characters had feminine appearance and obsessed with manliness. Both turned into a girl. Both are involved in a love triangle. Both are having a wavering identity between being a boy or a girl. Both started to develop a romantic feeling to someone. The difference: Kanojo ni Naru Hi Another is a shoujo manga while Boku Girl is a seinen ecchi manga. But I've read them both and I can say this series is the most similar manga to Boku Girl. I felt the same enjoyment that I got from Boku Girl.

Nyotai-ka Yankee Gakuen☆: Ore no Hajimete, Nerawaretemasu. & Boku girl -Both have a cute MC -Both transform from male to female and accept their gender -Both have an interesting story

Both series deal with guy best friends, and suddenly one of them turns into a girl, both are ecchi but boku is more of a comedy where as kanajo is more serious

Both mangas have a male protagonist turning into a girl (not just crossdressing). In Boku Girl, the mc turned into a female after being toyed by a loli goddess. Both the mc's have their own respective female love interests. Not only the artsyle (which contains ecchi much like Mida Love) is superb but also the story being great. If you're looking for a good gender bender seinen manga that you want to read in one sitting, then read Boku Girl! (it's also completed btw)

school life (romance) stories where gender plays a very important role
reportRecommended by K1ngOfSloth
Both are rom-coms where one of the main leads is troubled as to whether they should be a guy or girl, further drama ensues with interference by supernatural forces.

A good match because of the sudden transformation the mc got. However, Otome Kaijuu is not a gendbend, instead it's a godzilla transformation. Which is absurd but fun to read.

Both characters go through complete gender changes. But in Megu Milk gender change opposite of the gender who kiss him. Girl kiss turn to boy, and boy kiss turn to girl. The character with the gender change starts developing some sort of love to their close friend. Both are very interesting.

both have REALLY extravagant side chars that you wont find anywhere else that easily

Well, I wouldn't say they're similar, it's just that the body swap that happened to Yuuta and Yui (the main characters) came against their will and are forced to live each other's life until they turn back. The story (mostly) deals with the female lead which shows how hard it is to be a girl, so while reading Boku Girl I felt a resemblance to Shishunki Bitter Change

A much more ecchi approach to the gender bender concept of Ranma 1/2. If you like anime where a character becomes female, much to their dismay, then you will enjoy Boku Girl. The anime's main strength is its concept and it has fun with it.

While boku girl is mtf (male to female) comedy, oyajina is a female to middle age man comedy. Both are hilarious. While boku girl have a shounen romance/harem inspired plot, oyajina is a yaoi/shoujo parody.

Boku Girl and Boku wa Ohime-sama ni Narenai explores youth and romance in a rather unorthodox style. That is, the main protagonist are portrayed as girls despite being genetically born as guys. As such, their appearance is very androgynous that causes complications in the story. There is a lot of comedy in both series and relationship angles. Although in context, Boku Girl has some mature content while Boku wa Ohimesama ni Narenai is focused much more on comedy with little emphasis on a serious plot.

In Boku Girl the male protagonist suddenly turns into a girl which he tries to hide (only his best friend knows). Sure Fun! In Ichinensei ni Nacchattara the protagonist saves a little girl from being overrun by a truck and nearly dies, but he gets rescued by a crazy scientist. Now he just isn't a highschool girl anymore but a elementary school girl. In order to get back his old body he lives with his savior, who is actually the sister of his crush.

What started out as a somewhat ordinary story in a school setting turns into unusual circumstances when supernatural elements gets mixed in. The premise of both series sounds different but the main character's circumstances feel similar. In retrospect, they become a girl and has to deal with their new reality. Throughout both series, there is a bit of romance that develops between the main characters. But because of the bizarreness of both series' themes, do expect some peculiar humor.

When your best friend woke up and turn into a girl like magic then these manga are for you Mendokusagari... is more like a comedy omake/4Koma style with not much of a plot best it’s funny

When your childhood friend has the look of a girl and you started to fall for him In Boku Girl he turn into a girl but still have the same feature when he was a man so nothing change except for his gender.
reportRecommended by AkatsukiUlquiora
Both manga's main aspect are genderbender: In Boku Girl the male protagonist changes into a girl by evil doing of a higher being (god/demon idk what it's called anymore) and has to overcome some hurdles in order to try his gender change. In Fukigen Cinderella the boy is turned into a girl but only from 12 AM to 12 PM (12-24). Well there's nothing more to say (apart from that both are in my top 5 gender bender).
reportRecommended by Shinnokira
Both manga deal with the aspect of the male protagonist's change of gender, which he has to get accustomed with and overcome problems caused by that. In Boku Girl the boy wants to hide the fact, that he has become a girl, in Boku wa Mari no Naka the protagonist gets to live in another one's female body, so he has to try living as the girl that was in the body before.
reportRecommended by Shinnokira
While boku girl is a supernatural themed GB comedy, and prunus girl is transsexual, they are quite similar in the humor and setting. I'm not a big fan of episodic manga, so I rate boku girl higher, prunus girl gets quite repetitive.
reportRecommended by txrxgxu
Both manga have demon, trap character, and ecchi moment if your interested in cross dressing gender bending manga then look no further you just found two manga with those characteristic genre.
reportRecommended by AkatsukiUlquiora
Both include MC's that are commonly mistaken for their opposite genders, romance developing between best friends and the comedy of every day school life where you are slowly growing up.
reportRecommended by wonwoo
Both stories are similar, MC's former childhood friend change into a girl and now MC need to get use to it that his former childhood friend completely turn different gender.

Guy falls in love with a guy that got changed into a girl. While one is borderline-h ecchi, the other one is straight out hentai-
reportRecommended by abystoma2
Both are manga about a guy that suddenly changes into a girl and is trying to find a way to change back. While Ookami-kun to Cinderella is more shoujo, Boku Girl is more ecchi.
reportRecommended by abystoma2
Boku girl is set in high school while nyotai is set in a work environment, which can be quite refreshing. Both are basic "higher forces gender bend" styled, and quite straight forward entertaining.
