Ok, to start off, this Manga is based on Capcom's game Monster Hunter.The game being widely popular in Japan and Monster Hunter being the best selling PSP game its not surprising that they made a manga adaption for it.
Story: the story revolves around the protagonist Shiki and his quest to find the legendary Miogaruna. Nothing too original but a decent standing point for the story, if you've played the game you'll easily find the story interesting because there are tons of game related experience they'll show. My oh my, what an enjoyable read this have been. It's a short experience, as the manga only has 14 chapters for you to enjoy. After 14 chapters of being in the Monster Hunter world, which would much more befittingly could be called 'Dragon Hunter', I have to say I am excitingly impressed!
If one thing is noticeable about Monster Hunter, then it is it's amazing artwork. I have not yet seen a scene in a chapter where no time was put in. The characters looks astonishing and some of the artwork when consisting of villages were a sight to behold as well. The monsters looks ...

So Monster Hunter Orage is a Manga written by Hiro Mashima, the same Hiro Mashima that is writing Fairy Tail and wrote Rave Master.
Monster Hunter Orage was a short Manga only 14 chapters and it felt rushed. Even so i enjoyed it to the fullest. The story was a typical Hiro Mashima story. The really strong MC with something many others don't have in this case it was the forbidden seal, and the rest for example the girl he meets in the beggining and the rival and they work together for a similiar goal. Taken from a capcom game, it has a weak story, considering that the game has no story at all. The only thing I like about this manga is that I play monster hunter and I'm a fan myself. Although, I'm not saying it's bad. It's(the manga) fun, exciting and thrilling on how the main characters are going to portray their role. BUT doesn't have a decent story at all.
Anyway, aside from the story, MHO still has their points. Cool weapons taken from the original game. The way it was drawn seem like you're playing the manga instead of reading it. I just hope that the ...

Ever played a game called Monster Hunter? (MHF2, MH2G) Well i did, and im down right happy with this accidental discovery.
In a world where hunters exists, as its titles says, its land are ruled by monsters. A boy named Shiki, an orphan, was taken in and trained by a travelling hunter. After training for quite sometime, the trainer dies, ironically due to an accident. His by then, master belonged to a group of special hunters called, Forbidden Hunters. A story in the video game "monster hunter freedom" the story talks about these four guys and the hunt for monsters from that world, how they met, what they have in common, what are their dreams.
The subject matter of the four volumes is always based on family, loyalty to mates and achieving one's dreams. The monsters made by Mashima (both the originals and those created by him) are done very well always with his style; very simple not complex story to introduce us the game and an alternate history. My rating for this mini-series is 7 for the story and 7.5 for the art.

HONEST REVIEW :-Poor adaptation for a wonderful franchise, if you never played a monster hunter games go try one of em , so this manga like a spin-off by fairy tale's author the story was so short and rushed it felt it he giving some quick notes or or shots about the MC journey besides that the story filled with the power of the friendship and omg it was so annoying , characters here doing everything for the friendship they don't shush about it all , imagine like in the last chapter every sentence mentioned friendship or for the sake of my friend lol fr
