Ever played a game called Monster Hunter? (MHF2, MH2G) Well i did, and im down right happy with this accidental discovery.
In a world where hunters exists, as its titles says, its land are ruled by monsters. A boy named Shiki, an orphan, was taken in and trained by a travelling hunter. After training for quite sometime, the trainer dies, ironically due to an accident. His by then, master belonged to a group of special hunters called, Forbidden Hunters. These people had special previlleges and a tattoo to show as proof. A little timeskip after the death of his master, shiki, bearing the tattoo given by
...
his master, was well on his way out into the world of hunters. He met with people along the way, that was again, ironically connected to one another. As the story folds out, shiki travels with a group of comrades, each having the same if not individual goals. Despite him being a random idiot and cracking out cold jokes, he manages to get rivals and enemies too. The story is still going on, as the game proved its enjoyment to me, hopefully the story continues to get better.
if you like the type of manga that often shows burning desire, spewing out random phrases, loud-brash personality, group of people travelling together, unique weapons and big-big monsters. This should do you good.
Any of you holds the title of HR 6?. Meaning to say, played the game but haven read it yet, take it as another way to look at the game with the difference of having a storyline. The art, i feel, is emphasized on the monsters, characters and of course, serious scences. Although it would be unfair to compare it this way, the background, however, is a far cry from how it is in actual gaming.
I gave 8 to enjoyment because i laughed alot. As the game itself is serious, shiki's randomness antics and the situation he gets himself into due to his carelessness and stupidity is surprisingly humorous. I didnt know i could easily be made to laugh. Read it and let me know.

If you have a friend, or better yet a group of em', always criticising your anime indulging existence. Fret not, convert them. Throw this at their faces and if all goes well (it did, for me) theyll be begging you for more.
A boy that is destined to be hated for life, alone and sad forever. Naruto shows that no matter what kind of society that you in and no matter what is thrown against you, you are the key that makes it better for yourself. Written down in a world where ninjas and inner spirit power (Chakra) takes place, it opens up a new way

of how we or should i say, i, look at ninjas.
Forbidden techniques, country-colonizing, 3 man teams. You wont know what ninjas really do after you watch this. Sadly, to me it kind of lost a great deal of fans. A year long series-killer, fillers. Yes. It started off to be quite entertaining but before long, the episodes were like aired as though it was just to keep it going while the manga side runs on.
Then, life breathes back into the series it when it was announced that the original manga published stories were set to be aired as a second part of naruto with a timeskip, featuring a grown up naruto's generation and apparently new quality of episodes. Check for Naruto: Shippuuden.

This series is undoubtly the first ever anime series that ive watched. It sparked my interest and before long, taking me deeper into the world of Japanese Animation. Now, it is one of the best, to me, of all the current ongoing anime series that i am following. The story just keeps escalating and i am itching to read the manga. Awesome characters with unique individual powers and outrageously powerfull enemies. Every battle the protagonist goes into, Kurosaki Ichigo, seems like one where he will never win. Of course, good always triumph over evil, so he and his comrades manages from time to time. Sadly,

the inevitable series killer ie, fillers, have also began to infect this once filler-free series.(lol) To me, it survived this phase as the story quality of the first fillers are, surprisingly to say, entertaining. Unlike some series that im sure millions of you out there know of. Although, the second phase of fillers didnt quite meet my expectations. Anyways, as to date, the exitement still continues.
