Genius people who are able to outsmart the aristocrats that have prejudice and contempt for the common folk. Both are pretty satisfying (if you ask me). *Both are situated in historical France. 

Both are about the painting unlimited by rules 

Protagonist in Sayonara Sorcier has a goal of 'fixing' the art industry which is strictly ruled by aristocracy making it impossible for just anyone to become and artist and sell their art. Basically the concept is very similar to the one in moriarty, both series' protagonists want to break out some unfair systems from the inside.  

A good looking guy in a black suit and a hat atop his head, is shrouded in semi-mystery. He doesn't live his life by society's rules, and you only get to know of his true intentions (and by extension, his character) towards the end of the manga/manhwa. Both the works are from different genres that treat their subjects in a semi-dramatic way, but if you enjoy mysterious guys with little backstories, then you're sure to enjoy this recommendation.  

The plot is quite different despite both being historical manga but Sebastian and Theodorus seem really similar in personality to me and the artwork has similarities as well 

This rec is for ch1-2 of Tableau - both stories are set in a decidedly European backdrop, and both involve art, beautiful men, their complex relationship with each other, as well as their own emotional turmoils. 

Both of these manga are retelling the stories of Vincent van Gogh. And while Guardians of the Louvre uses some supernatural elements, it's Sayonara Sorcier that goes more loose from the historical reality. If you're interested in classical art, you might enjoy both of those though.
