Both have couples where one is deaf though in Kingyosou they get together much earlier. While Kingyosou is set through highschool to college Hidamari is set in college. Both present the struggles of being hearing impaired and how the other helps them get through. 

Both deals with the same type of relationship, and the same type of connection, sports(Drums is a sport... kinda). 

As Kingyo Sou, Koe no Katachi, gives insight into the world of a deaf person with compassion and admiration. While the context is very different, both focus on the relationship that builds as one tries to "hear" one another's voice.  

Both manga are love stories that revolve around MCs with physical disabilities. 

The one-shot in Film Girl named Anya Kouro is similar to Kingyou Sou. Both male leads have a disability (blindness/deafness) and in both the girl starts to like him before she knows of his disadility. 

Both stories shows the blooming relationship between someone with hearing disabilities. in Yubisaki to Renren the main character is deaf rather than the male lead, but still conveys similar themes with learning about sign language. 

Both mangas have a dramatic approach that is sometimes similar, both with an impaired male, and how their life is quite different from others. Both female protagonist slowly learns how to be around such a person, though Kingyo Sou focuses more with the love relationship while Eien no With is more about her love and care for her dog. 

Both stories have main characters who isolate themselves. In Akaku Saku Koe it is do to a special ability, while in Kingyou Sou it is due to a disability. However ,through the persistent care of a kind and open-minded girl, both come to open their hearts to another and then to the world again.  

Both Shuukatsu!! and Kingyou Sou has an amazing sense of reality to it, so much so that you can relate to in even when you never actually experience any of those scenarios. The heroines in both mangas are innocent in different ways, and grow up gradually while they falling in love with a guy. The pace of the story is roughly similar too. Although one's josei and the other is a shoujo, you'll definitely love one if you enjoyed the other.  

Both stories revolve around an impaired male and a cheerful girl. Though Boku is a lot more serious, both are comical, cute and sad. They're both very down to earth, too. Kingyou is a lot shorter, though.
