The condescending world that is filled with cynical people. Why must everything have to be compared and be either good or bad? Can't we perhaps just take their action (or anything really) at face value and just say that we simply do it because we believe/find enjoyment in it. Learning to appreciate the lost and the gained, that is perhaps the essence of the two stories. 

While reading the two manhwa, I really came to understand what it means to lose a truly irreplaceable person, that they would feel that the world might as well be pitch black without that particular person beside them. The slightest presence of that person would vanquish all darkness with a soothing light. Facing the world together while carrying their disabilities that slowly becomes weightless, and meeting people and befriending them. People that are too kind for their own good, too stupid for their own good, too self-centered for their own good, all coming together to support each other and giving the necessary push to take a step forward. 

Turning a weakness into a strength, or at least as something indifferent. "It is not about taking care of somebody, but it is simply living together," thus dissolving the complexity of the world and be able to truly bond with others. At the end though, sometimes taking a step backwards is a good thing for the journey, a journey of what it means to be just as "normal" as everyone else. The journey matters, but the destination matters even more. 

Two stories that can make you smile/laugh on the spot, be angry or maybe even cry in a matter of seconds. Two truly mesmerizing, dramatic stories simply about interacting with others. Highly recommended to people who loves drama, slice of life or is simply looking for a good manhwa.  read more

My Kitty and Old Dog addpermalink

Look at the world from the animals' perspectives and prepare yourself for a ride on the feels train. In "My Young Cat and My Old Dog" most of the stories are told by the perspectives of the household pets, while in "Can't See Can't Hear But Love" 43rd chapter is the start of the Arc of Mong, the old man's pet dog.

These two webtoons have their own cute and heartwrenching moments that will make you think, and change the way you look at things.

Kimi ni shika Kikoenai addpermalink

The similarity of both mangas are uncanny. I can't help but remember Kimi ni shika Kikoenai while reading Can't See Can't Hear But Love. Both have a very inspiring story that will make you cry not because it's heartbreaking but because its touching.
Similarity:
KNSK - The guy is both blind and deaf but due to a supernatural event, the girl could be able hear his inner voice through talking in minds.
CSCHBL - The main guy was blind and the main woman was deaf
While KNSK is more about supernatural, the main point of both stories is that they both show hope and light to the readers despite their disabilities. read more

These two are completely different mangas with a whole different plots but one thing they have is that they make you cry for hours. Both of them are a masterpiece in my opinion. If you haven't read these two mangas that mean your life had been under a rock. Now push that rock away and read these wonderful, amazing, beautiful mangas.

Both are webtoons (colored, full-page korean comics) that are written and drawn by Nasty Cat.
