Violent nus, demons/angels and a nice story! Stigmata may be a bit short, but totally worth it. :)

I find the artwork and stye similar in both series and both have samey villains... both train and chrono have conflicted paths and find friends who help them

Other than the obvious similarity in the religious setting of the institutions, both works show a similar interdependent relationship among the main characters, and a small life expectancy for both female leads.

- Both have a pair of male/female protagonists that were loyal to each other - The plot mainly revolves around both of their troubled and harrowing past - OP MC ( Chrno, Shiro) - Both have likeable side characters that helped the MC along the way and were crucial to the plot development

Both of these titles are written by Daisuke Moriyama, and have similar themes of family, devotion, and trying to make the best out of difficult situations. In particular, the final story in the collection (Mother's Guardian) is pretty similar to Chrono Crusade since it's also about a strange boy who protects a girl with a special bond to him (although their relationship isn't romantic like it is in Chrono Crusade).

Both mangas have a strong female and male leads and the story is about the bond they create. Dorohedoro does it way better, though. (Even because it has more time to flesh out the characters, CC feels a little bit rushed.)

Out of all the manga I’ve read, Chrno Crusade is the closest to Fullmetal Alchemist. Yeah, D.Gray-man has some aspects shared, but Chrno Crusade is more similar to Fullmetal Alchemist than D.Gray-man. Both Chrno Crusade and Fullmetal Alchemist are about a group of blonde siblings going on a quest to restore their lives. Chrno Crusade follows Chrno and Rosette as they go to find Rosette’s brother, Joshua. Meanwhile, in Fullmetal Alchemist, Edward and Alphonse go on a quest to get their bodies back by finding the Philosopher's Stone. The art style, tone, comedy, feeling and even the characters (Rosette and Edward, Chrno and Alphonse) are all  read more

07-Ghost and Chrno Crusade have religious undertones and a similar style of mixing comedy and a dark storyline. Both have the same feeling as well.

Chrno Crusade and World Embryo are by the same creator, Daisuke Moriyama. While the storylines are very different, the feeling and art style of both manga are very similar. Some themes are shared between the two are somewhat similar. Check out one if you liked the other!

Both series are about an organization fighting demons, the main female characters somehow came from kind-of religious organizations and have a similar atmosphere. Chrno is so similar to Kukabara and Rosette is similar to Idamaria

Both have nice art and a main character who possesses a contract with a demon

girls who have to cross their road with demons, bear with the past and try to survive it.. they have a lot in common and not only their hairstyle!
reportRecommended by YUE3899
Both have a lot of elements in common like the fights between monsters (vampires) and humans, with institutions of the church tha fights against such monsters, althoug the involving and dramatic plot.

they are very similar, if you are looking for the same lovely main people, having to live with the choise they made, an non human boy and a very caring girl just too gentle to let things happen...
reportRecommended by YUE3899
Both of these fantastic manga are similar with a huge 'war' between the powers of good (angels or messengers of god) and the powers of darkness (devil, demons, etc.) Also, both mangas have a romance between a person of the good and dark powers. Makes for a really sweet plot!

Both main male chara have lived for a long time and have sad pasts involving a female chara, both mangas have main female chara who fight and who develope a close relationship with the main charas. in one manga you have "demons" and in the other you have "angels".
reportRecommended by Dragonheart1112
the both have demons/people who they control that are (very sexy) boys. also, the female character's life source is drained to protect her/fuel the men's powers. both also very good ^^

Hellsing and Chrno Crusade are similar in many aspects. There are demons instead of vampires but Chrno is actually directed for younger audience than Kouta Hiranos manga.
