In both, normal girls somehow 'received' god power from a god. Though the plot in the 2 series go into different paths, become a god or remain as a human. Nanami is 'bind' by her role as a land god but Inari is going into the direction so that she can control and live with the power as a human without becoming god. Both contain their troubles with love and interaction with other gods.

Both series have a main character facing not only troubles with love but also the challenge of becoming a god. They also share a lovely drawing style.

Both are romantic Manga with fantasy elements. The two share the same topic: A very shy girl and her struggle to overcome her weakness with the help of friends, family and a goddess by doing a number of tasks that help her interacting with a boy, thus thanks to this love is born between the two.

- Young Female lead with powers they take for granted - Female leads have crushes - Both have older brothers who have a romantic subplot that's much fluffier and cuter - Magic/Supernatural

Both are about interactions between humans and gods. Inari is more focused on romance while Noragami on action and drama.

Main characters of both stories is in love with someone and trying to confess in their feelings by using some sort of supernatural powers. Both comics have similar romance-comedy feel.

Inari struggles with her divine powers and hiding them while Karin struggles similarly with hiding her vampiric powers, especially with the boy they like and their best friend/s. They also have similar endings, so if one ending made you cry, you'll probably cry over the other ending.
