-Review edited after the end of the series.-
Being a hardcore fan of the Nana to Kaoru series, I was more than simply horny to hear about the sequel placed eight months in the future during the summer break and while I was happy to have a double dose of BDSM goodness, I had my suspicions about how good could a sequel be when the main thing wasn't over yet at the time.
Luckily for all us enthusiasts, Arashi not only brings more than our sexy bits could possibly hope for, starting of with bringing a new, BDSM-experienced pairing into the story and delivering some very

A great side story to the ongoing (at this time) manga, "Nana to Kaoru". My first impression of this story was that it would probably evolve like the main manga arc, which is to say that there would be too much delay in the development of the relationship between Nana and Kaoru, and at first it appears that this is going to be the case so I was just prepared at that point to enjoy some comedy and then some. However, the manga quickly switches gears to focusing on Sarashina and Tachibana and their unorthodox relationship as the couple invite Nana and Kaoru out to

Well, it was funny and also continues the main story, this time show as a more mature perspective in their relationship with a linear development.
I really enjoy this so much because every single time kaoru changes the actitude and pass to be the dominate partner (M) , and the rest of the time he is a loser. But he change for love and that is enough reason to read it. The second main protagonist,NANA, is so hot and she also change her way to look for the love that she feels for kaoru. Most of the chapters usually follow a formula of development, I could explain ... Aug 25, 2020 Well well well, I loved nana to kaoru but I only rated it 7/10 because of it's ending which lets us on our hunger from a romance point of view. Nana to kaoru black label is basically the end that we all wanted to see. Those 45 chapters are a pleasure to read. No drama at all, it doesnt really talk about their high school life. It focuses on their bond, their relationship. Nana and kaoru go on a 3 or 4 days trip on japan's countryside with Tachibana and her master (who is also a SM writer that Kaoru loves). It will permit our main ... Aug 18, 2021
I don't want to go on a rant so I'll try to keep this short. I'll start this off by say, if you are hoping to read this series for the kinky factor and mostly just that than I think you'll like this a lot? Maybe? I'm not really into S&M so those segments didn't do much for me outside the first few sessions but obviously if you are into that stuff then by all means enjoy.
If you're a poor hopeless romantic idiot like me who is going into this expecting a well told romance story with a kinky factor and amazing character ... Apr 29, 2014
The best, my favorite by far, in the realm of manga, are the two series put out by my favorite mangaka*: Nana to Kaoru and Nana to Kaoru Arashi by AMAZUME Ryuta.
* Mangaka are both writer and illustrator on single manga, something I see as great skill and effort on the part of the artist. These are ecchi series, with ecchi think Rated-R in USA movie lingo, which standout far above all other titles in my mind: animanga, ecchi and even hentai, think X to XXX when seeing hentai. These series center on S&M story-lines between SUGIMARU Kaoru and CHIGUSA Nana, teenage characters of the same grade, ... Jun 17, 2019
tl;dr: A solid continuation that's just as good as its predecessor.
I was expecting this to be a side story like filler somewhat disconnected from where the main series left off since even though chronologically it's after, it was released before the first series ended. Hence, I was surprised that that wasn't the case, and that this was a solid continuation of the main series that felt like it picked up right where the main series left off and continued progressing their relationship and cranking up the intensity in the same manner. Just as with the main series, the progress is slow and steady and something that the two involved ... Aug 27, 2020
I have just read Nana to Kaoru and Nana to Kaoru: Black Label back to back and whilst I found the original work to be Great the sequel is lack luster. On it's own or as a side story not set after the events of the original I'd probably say it's very good but as a sequel it is flawed. I have two main issues with Black Label as a sequel. The first is the change of setting from their Highschool and normal lives to a countryside house. The second is the focus on SM rather than on the relationship. Let me explain what I

For This Review Im gonna keep it short
I'm a big fan of Nana to Kaoru, but the ending was just bad in my opinion, not enough romantic evolution in there relationship, and I just didn't like a lot of the stuff that was happening in the story such as the creep at the end Koaru moving away etc; it really brought the story down for me. Black label on the other hand does everything very well, nothing that I didn't like to much and was written very well in my opinion. We also finally get to see some decent change in the ... |
