Ratman and Boku no Hero Academia has a main protagonist whose life changes one day after one faithful event. They both have an ambition to make a dream come true although they face many obstacles along the way. There is a wide degree of action present in both series as well as comedy when appropriate. The main protagonist aren't any special at firsthand but does prove their worth during certain occasions. Their development of both inner strengths and dream are motivations that drives the story.

Both follow characters who primarily belong to an evil organisation; even though they are not really evil themselves. 

Both mangas are well in a way superhero themed mangas. While Zetman is more dark and mature, Ratman has a more lighthearted and has somewhat of a comedic approach to it. 

Both series feature similar settings as the main character playing a Villain role in the world. Ratman tends to have a focus on action with some good comedy while Baito-saki focuses on good comedy with some action. With popular series like One Punch Man, Baito-saki and Ratman make for great series to enjoy the perspective of villains in worlds where Super Heroes also exist.  

Both are stories about heroes and how commercializing it has changed the way both how the heroes act and the way people perceive them. The main characters in both rbelieve in the idea of being heroes to help others, an idea which often clashes with the workings of superheroes in both worlds. There's also a fair amount of humor in both. 

The similarities between Ratman and Accel World are not so straightforward. In both mangas, the main character is offer a chance to escape their normal life and enter a world where they can live out their dream every single day. In both cases, the main character is drag into the new world by a girl which he ultimately fall in loves with. Both main characters are not one would say as the "ideal" type. In Ratman, Shuto is given a gadget watch that allows him to become a "superhero" which had always been his dream. While in Accel World, Haruyuki is given a program which allows him to enter the world of Acceleration, and be with the one he loves and also gives him a chance to change himself for the better. read more 

Superheroes and justice are the two central themes of both mangas. Akumetsu appeals to an older audience with a dark and mature tone, while Ratman appeals to a younger audience with a more comedic and light hearted story. Both explore the philosophy of "what is good?" and "what is evil?" but only Akumetsu establishes a clear answer and distinction between the two, while Ratman does so vaguely through it's cheek humor and fanservice. Both protagonists are seen as evil "superheroes" by society but there is a fundamental difference between the two. Ratman is feared solely because of his monster-like appearance, while Akumetsu is feared because of his violent approach in killing those he deems "evil". Both series follow the stories of characters who want to be heroes. But things don't go as expected and these characters are seen as enemies of mankind instead. Despite that heavy sounding story both pack a lot of humor. 

Both in a World where Heores are Commercialized and are overseed by Hero Company. Both Protagonists want to be heroes and Dream of Justice. Hero Co., i smore darker in story than Ratman 

Both titles heavily feature super sentai parody and tropes. 

Both are about a teenage main character who wants to be hero more than anything. In both, the main character has a famous heroic idol from the past. Both have a girl who pulls the main character into the plot. 

Ratman is a homage to Kamen Rider and has several references to the Kamen Rider franchise (Combatant Jackys are even a parody of Shocker henchmen). The main protagonist in both manga are kidnapped by an evil organization and are transformed into a super powerful humanoid being. The main protagonist in both manga end up using their newly gained powers for good and not for evil. If you are a fan of Kamen Rider, you should enjoy Ratman. Fans of Ratman should check out the original Kamen Rider manga and the live action TV series as well.  

Both are comedies where the MC unwittingly gets involved with villainesses.
