The later versions of Kindle does support pdf files, as far as I know. And yeah it's a real pain to hold a device, especially cell phones, for long but you gotta appreciate what you have when you don't have other options. Lol.
Yeah, I have Ibitsu. Just never got around to reading it. The last horror manga I read was Uzumaki but I never actually finished it. Got distracted by other manga, I guess.
I mean it would be a little uncomfortable for me to read it on my computer. I like to read books while lying down on my bed.
That would be awesome. Thanks a lot, mate. Btw, I see you like Akame ga Kill! One badass manga, that is. Esdese is my favorite too.
Ah, yes, I do know about mangaupdates. Actually, I was asking if there's a place where I could locate them all...sort of like mangatraders. I don't think I'd be able to read the novels on my computer. I'm gonna have to transfer them to my iphone or maybe I'll just get a Kindle...if I can afford it atm.
I understand why you would feel that way about Blade of the Immortal and I agree with you about the fight scenes. To be honest, though, it didn't bother me much and I'm not really reading it for the fight scenes but for the story. I kinda have the soft spot for historical stuff so erm you could say I'm biased. Lol.
Apologies for the delay. My holidays are over and university is a bitch.
I will probably stick with the manga as far Vagabond is concerned. I just love the art and the feeling it gives during the sword fights. I did watch an episode of Oda Nobuna but I didn't really like it. It's the type of anime that doesn't take itself seriously. It's probably supposed to be that way but I don't like it.
Thank you for the recommendations. I'll try to read them when I find some free time. One question, where do you get your Light Novels from? I know about Baka-Tsuki but that's about it. I would buy the novels but they aren't available in my country.
Haha, gloomy...yes, that it was. Hm, maybe that was the reason I enjoyed it. Actually, I watched the anime first so I didn't even know about puck. Puck is pretty funny, though. I guess he would have made the anime a bit less macabre...or maybe not. Lol, I just noticed I haven't added Berserk (manga) to my list.
I don't really restrict my genre choices but I mainly prefer to read something action oriented. It could be martial arts like The Breaker or supernatural stuff like in Noblesse or could be a mix of both as in Feng Shen Ji. I also very much like to read about samurai and historical stuff so something like Vagabond or Blade of the Immortal would be right up my alley too. Psychological is another genre I enjoy when I'm in the mood...along with romance and SoL.
I mean you have him listed in your favorites. I didn't mean to say he's your favorite character :) And it's perfectly understandable that you should get annoyed by hearing something like that. Sorry!
Do you read the novels on your PC or do you actually buy them? I haven't seen/read High school DxD but I understand what you're trying to say and I think it's a good thing the author choose to do that. It wouldn't have that effect it's supposed to have otherwise.
Ah, that must have been rude considering he's one of your favorite character. Yes, I mean feminine (I did say girly but that seems to have faded somewhere amidst the chaos of hermaphrodite) and I apologize as I may offended but such was not my intention. Lol, I hope it wasn't a major spoiler. Anyway, thank you for clearing that up for me. I'll read it now :) Do tell me if you have anything else to recommend, I'm always looking for a good manga to read.
I"m at chapter 80. Although, I don't even remember what it was about since it's been quite a while. I'm just waiting till it's done. Dunno how long it's going to take. A couple of years, perhaps?
The only thing that's keeping me from reading Id is that the mc looks like a hermaphrodite (maybe that's a strong word...girly perhaps?). Not really a good reason to avoid a work and it's not that big of deal either but idk. I can't help but think that it'll bug me throughout the manhwa. I'll get to it eventually, though. Also, does it have a consistent story? The synopsis is rather obnubilated.
You do have a point there. I think I should give it a go. I can't seem to make anything of Parasyte, the genre says it's horror and action. I don't know what kind of action it has. I'm really skeptical about this one.
How is new waves progressing? I hear people complaining about the mc getting annoying and stuff. What's up with that? I haven't read it in a long time and the last chapter I read iirc was kind of a cliff hanger. It was pretty good, though.
Bloody Monday does seem to have that problem but other than that, it was fairly enjoyable. I read it a long time ago so I've forgotten most of it but I do remember that I quite enjoyed reading it. No I haven't read Parasyte. I did come across it once but I never got a chance to read it. I will consider this one the next time I'm looking for a horror (creepy?) manga. I did think of picking up Record of the Fallen Vampire but then I thought since I already know how it's going to end, I won't enjoy it that much. Have you been watching/reading anything good lately?
PS: Sorry for the abruptness of this comment. I was just checking my friends list and stuff and noticed that I hadn't replied to you, so sorry about that. I had taken exile from anime/manga world for a while and got back just a month ago. Not that anyone cares. I hope you're doing well and enjoying life.
