A promising new gen manga with some crazy good art to back it up. Similar to chainsaw man, in this setting there are monsters that appear in regular society and a government division to eliminate them. But don't worry its not just a rip off, the setting is very unique with some incredible worldbuilding and engaging dialogue. Even though there are only a few chapters out right now, these are VERY long chapters and I doubt they will continue to be this length. The art style is uniquely cool and compliments the setting perfectly, the monster designs are very interesting but the main characters themselves

Empyreal Cabinet sets out to be a great new gen manga with absolutely outstanding worldbuilding from the very first chapter. It centers around Toya Tatsumori, a young Spellcaster and a member of a special unit of exorcists protecting their country from supernatural threats. It may sound generic on paper, but I assure you it is not your average battle shonen. What makes this one stand out from the multitude of exorcist/anti-monster corps manga that we're getting nowadays is its resemblance to a… political thriller. The artstyle is extremely generic and there's a clear lack of the sense of pespective and movement in the drawing, the story is one more of those "anti-monster corps", of the new ones from Jump+ this is the least interesting one, feels like cheap version of Ao no Exorcist.
Also the author seems to puts to much information and count on the reader to remember it to make sense on the dialogues, especially regarding the locations and the organization posts, that pehaps for a japanese are easy to remember, but for me wasnt. Mixed feelings because i will continue to read at least until at least chapter ... Feb 3, 2025
This manga builds its lore and plot very slowly. And for me it's a pretty good pace. Reading for example Kagurabachi with similar themes, but at a faster pace (if anyone reads it, you'll understand me) I understand that maybe this is the pace it should have been written at if it wasn't released weekly. I'm interested in learning about some detail from this world in each chapter, politics, laws and similar things!! Of course I wouldn't call it a breakthrough in the manga industry, but the story is pretty good!!! Although it's very difficult to judge based on only 7 chapters, but if the
