Basashi ga Tabetai is a very good short series. It manages to tell it's story perfectly within the limited chapter count. The characters are very fun and the dynamic between the two main characters is extremely wholesome. The side characters are very minimalistic as they all appear basically ones and then never again, which is a shame but expected with again the limited amount of page count. The art is good and the story is fun. There really isn't anything to complain about except that there isn't more.

Overall very good and extremely enjoyable. Definetly worth a read, especially with how short it is.

The conclusion was on point and tonally sound too. The story is only six chapters but each chapter has excellent pacing and doesn't wander away from the point. The only reason this wasn't a 10/10 for me is because when I give something a 10/10 I've made a personal connection to it, and I just didn't with this story. That said, I wouldn't consider it a detractor because I still enjoyed it immensely. Maybe we'll get lucky and ...

It's got a slow start, but the story won me over on chapter 4, where the author actually creates an actual issue between two Human Beings and resolves it in a natural, satisfying way. She and her sister don't get along. Her sister is harsh to everyone, and FMC herself doesn't like sharing her art. Problem is she took up art to get closer to her sister. The most FMC would manage to do it sneak a drawing into her sister's hands, then run away before hearing anything. She asked her sister why she likes drawing so much, and when she said she likes seeing ...
