This is one of those manga that I'd recommend but I don't think it's actually good.
TTGL *the manga* is an adaptation of the anime, essentially serving as a recap and promotion of the original show that released before it, the plot is almost identical to the original bit from bit with most minor scenes and character interaction taken out of it in between the major plot points to save time.
the Artwork has an extremely nice look to it that fits Gurren Lagann well, but one of my biggest gripes of this adaptation is the fight scenes.

I recommend this work mainly because it is so enjoyable to read that by the time you realize it, you have already finished the volume. The series is very good, it gets you excited, it hypes you up for the good moments, but towards the end, it starts to lose strength. The beginning of the work is very strong and I recommend everyone to read and watch the anime.
For the initial Arc towards the end, it starts to lose a bit of quality, which is why I don't give it a 9 or a 10. But overall, it's very good to watch and read. |
