Really promising so far! I already can't wait for new chapter releases. Very refreshing compared to other romance manga I've read. As much as I love high school romances, it's interesting to see romance between adults for once. Akanabe and Sakieda have a super cute relationship. The dynamic between sensei and assistant is super fun. Anyone who is a fan of romance and slice of life manga should give this one a try. There are only 4 chapters as of now, but it's already quite entertaining and fun. The art is quite nice as well. I hope it goes on for many chapters. Can't wait ... to see where the story progresses!

Emotionally stunted boy X emotionless girl, the manga.

That's right, the premise is supposed to be that Akanabe sensei is a girl who can't feel embarrassment, but the truth is she shows no emotions at all, not just embarrassment. Apparently the author cannot tell the difference between not feeling embarrassment and not having a single ounce of humanity. The female lead will say stuff like "I'm so over the moon, you made me so happy" with a perfect poker face. Last time I checked happiness isn't embarrassment, but even when happy she reacts like an android.

The male lead is even worse, the spineless romcom MC whose ... knees get weak because of hug. Constantly turning beet red in the most mundane situations as if he were a middle schooler who had his first erection last week, just absolutely lacking in manliness.

On the other hand the story isn't that bad, but just kinda boring, nothing much really happens. The wholesome vibe is enjoyable but it does nothing to elevate the romance. It's best enjoyed as a cute slice of life basically.

As a slice of life it's pretty good, as a romcom it's pretty bad.

Don’t know where to start off with this review since I’m just not a huge fan of the concept. Yes, I love wholesome, fluff romance mangas like the next person, but this is just… boring? Or uninspired? I don’t get the appeal of this besides for some “cute” moments that comes from the mc’s embarrassed expressions after every single one of the fmc’s actions.

I’ll give a brief rundown of the storyline/plot since this is basically the only thing I saw: A story about a dead-panned, expressionless, somewhat oblivious, and serious fmc who “falls in love” with about your everyday self-insert mc who has less ... pine than last time.

It’s a somewhat promising concept solely due to them being mangakas since there’s always some neat storylines that can be introduced, but the massive flaw is from the lack of or the characters acting .. out of setting?

For an adult romance story, no less a slice of life, the characters don’t feel natural or human, especially the fmc. She just doesn’t make a lot of expressions, and it’s honestly not that fun to read because of it.

There’s some, very few, wholesome moments, and the writing isn’t too bad, but the characters are just a massive turn-off if you stop and think about it for a split second.

This review is probably going to get “confused bombed” since it’s a critique on a wholesome manga, which I have quite a lot of experience with, but I don’t see much promise in this manga, and I genuinely don’t understand all the love. Maybe I just hate happiness, but this manga doesn’t do much that separates itself from the rest of the “feel-good” stories.
