Let me be clear: this is one incredibly stupid manga. Yet, it’s the kind of stupidity that causes you to crave more of it — I am just so baffled at every single reaction from the main character and the people around him. Despite this manga having a REALLY silly concept, it’s honestly pretty well written with its characters and storyline.
The characters all get little but ample screen time — though they may get 1,2 chapters before their eventual axe, it feels like they have served their purpose comedy wise, and their impact is still there. Their deaths may seem a bit lax to some,
...
but I find it hilarious, especially when it’s accompanied by the mc’s reactions.
Dumbed down, the plot involves a “virgin” mc who wants no smoke with women, and he won’t get any until the story’s end, but the manga somehow keeps the story entertaining. The plot is, of course, not the most serious plot you’ll find out there — in fact, some of the scenes and art styles reminded me a bit of “Grand Blue,” — but that doesn’t mean this isn’t entertaining.
While there are some plot holes and questions with how society may be so dumb, but if you don’t take this too seriously and enjoy the story for its silly concept, it’s pretty funny and entertaining.

I seriously love everything about this, but I also hate it. I read around 15 chapters of the web comic prior to the manga (this) to get a full understanding of the background, and I wanted to see some clear revisions that would’ve made the web comic “manga-worthy.”
Instead, there were only small additions like the fmc’s thoughts, which, don’t get me wrong, helped a lot to the story, but there were just so many other gaps that the manga does not address.
To be honest, as a manga, the pacing is really weird — scenes that would usually be given some chapters to develop in
...
another manga are instead filled with dialogues like “this happened.” The plot points are also interesting and valid, but they are also very sudden — it’s almost like reading a chapter but you felt like you skipped a chapter because of the drastic change in every scene.
This comes from the manga not really being a separate entity but rather a compilation of the webcomic chapters.
Enough with the disappointed taping, this is honestly really engaging — the plot is relatively weird and original, but it incorporates a lot of wholesome moments with plenty of character development.
The characters are nothing short of amazing, as they all add so much to the story — the side characters add the necessary humor, while the main cast fulfill the role of making everything wholesome and cute.
Besides for the pacing being a bit wonky sometimes, the story is undoubtedly good; the author is clearly cooking with the plot points, but I wish he/she spent a little more time on subtle developments.

I’ve been dreading to write a review on this because I truly don’t know what this manwha did wrong to warrant a drop. What I can say, though, is that the story wasn’t interesting, and it was rather underwhelming despite its original plot line.
The story telling was rather fine, but it was just really slow-paced. It reminded me of a kdrama yet even more drawn-out with interactions (I’ve only watched 1 kdrama in my lifetime). The slow-pacing and development created a lack of interest or enjoyment in each chapter; they were readable, but it wasn’t more fun than a fantasy manga nor was it more
...
heartwarming than a romance manga.
Was it the lack of mood? The atmosphere felt a bit one-dimensional due to the lack of emotions from the mc and fmc — the most enjoyable times, though, were when the atmosphere was flirtatious accidentally, which the Manhwa didn’t execute much of.
The chemistry between the fmc and mc isn’t the best, and the side characters don’t add much to the story at all — there’s a rather interesting female side/main character, but she doesn’t get the necessary screen time when needed, making her story or contribution feeling like wasted potential.
It’s unfortunate for a story with a relatively original plot to be … boring? I still read 12 chapters the amount available as of this review), but I wasn’t engaged in the story besides for the opening chapters where there was the most back-and-forth between the mc and fmc (the highlight). The Manhwa starts off interesting enough, but it fails to retain interest due to the lack of oomph.

“Oh lord, this is terrible. This is just your average power fantasy with a lot of rape fanservice; how could anyone read this?”
Well, at least that was my initial reaction, but before I knew it, I got to chapter 15 and decided that enough was enough because this shouldn’t be that entertaining, but it was. Besides for this manga being orc rape simulator 900, the plot and characters aren’t too shabby, but it really suffered from the lack of world building.
I vividly remember being annoyed that this manga did a cop-out flashback instead of a proper character/story introduction — the manga just plops you
...
into the mc’s perspective, and it wants you to completely understand his values/views. A lot of his “emotional” overcoming would have been so much more impactful if the author decided to spend a singular chapter on him.
The world-building also sucks — I can’t even say it sucks, because there literally was no world-building. It’s like the author doesn’t know what kind of story he wanted to write until it was chapter 7-8 where the mc just then starts to question/reveal everything. Was the world filled with gates before? Did people have skills? What happened? Your guesss was as good as mine, and were supposed to ignore these details for however long.
Though, I’m a degenerate who stomached all its flaws, and I found myself a pleasantly enjoyable time-waster, as the mc’s powers and his casts’ was progressed rather well — if we were to ignore all the plot holes and lack of explanations in the powers themselves.
The characters also aren’t too bad because most of them act reasonably, and they add some fun-ness into the story.
This is manga where you turn your brain off and just read. Read until you become satisfied or bored to move onto the next. If you ignore all the poor writing, the story isn’t too bad, and it was pretty interesting — well, if you could stomach gore, sexual assault, and rape every chapter.

Minor plot spoilers.
I’m a fiend for any manga that has a yandere in it, but for some odd reason, this manga just didn’t click. The yandere, the fmc, was mostly fine — her twist was nice, and she did the usual yandere cliches, but it wasn’t remotely as entertaining as you’d get from any other crazy girl story.
I guess the main issue of this manga was that every single detail was just.. subpar — the plot and the characters were just “ok.” The plot contained a lot of twists in each chapter, but there became so much that it sort of became an
...
annoyance due to how it couldn’t completely focus on one detail and flesh it out, instead of adding more mystery on mystery.
Speaking of the mystery aspect, it’s a murder mystery — surprise, not surprise. The manga is very direct on how it treats this aspect, which I initially loved since it didn’t draw out the usual plot points, but I’ll be honest, the mc ruins a lot of the experience.
Yes, this is supposed to be a romance manga (I think?), so the mc and fmc need to be equally important, but the mc is another spineless protagonist that ruins a lot of the tension or just plain enjoyment. He’s one of those characters purposely made out to be hopeless, and the fmc hand holds him to the plot’s end, but it’s just not enjoyable. His actions and reactions are inconsistent towards the fmc and side characters. For example, he just casually brushes past his childhood friend’s “disappearance” once it was explained a little. You’d think he’d be a bit more … I don’t know, emotional?
I’ll have to give the author some props since it’s clear he did try to make an interesting plot and characters with his twists, but there’s just minor holes and annoyances that doesn’t make the story very enjoyable or engaging.

Hello.
This manga, quite frankly, sucks, and it’s almost like there was zero thought put into any plot development or introduction. As a reader, you know what the author is trying to do — in this case, every cliche in the book — but it’s like he never bothered with any of the necessary precursors to make the cliche happen in the first place.
This then results in a piss-poor manga since you’re just supposed to go along with the story because… you like wish-fulfillment stories. Speaking on this aspect, it’s hilariously bad. Yes, we all know and love wish-fulfillment stories where the fmc is
...
some popular, pretty girl, but at least make it make sense. The mc has zero redeemable qualities but for whatever plot contrived reason the fmc is head over heels for him.
I know, I know, it’s gonna have something to do with his past, etc. but that excuse is just uncanny, and the problem lies when it purposely takes away from the story’s enjoyability, as the author doesn’t even bother hinting at it.
Even for wish-fulfillment mangas, this manga has virtually no value besides for ass shots and tit shots that the author loves putting in. All of the fan-service is unnecessary, and if anything, it makes the mc more unlikable due to him being a pervert who wants to feel or comment on his girlfriend’s boobs every five panels.

This manga had some potential, but it continues to fall short of every satisfying development due to its one-dimensional nature. For some props, this manga is original enough to combine the mystery/detective premise with romance, but it’s incredibly forced/not well-written.
The story fails to incorporate both romance and mystery into the plot line without making one feel left out — this wasn’t an issue in the beginning because it was quite cute with a few laughs here and there by incorporating the mc’s reaction towards the fmc, but it quickly devolves into a mess.
The manga barely develops the romance because it heavily focuses on
...
the “mystery,” and I’ll be honest, the mystery kind of sucks. The plot heavily relies on the fact that, besides for the fmc, everyone is incompetent and stupid — there are some elaborate plans by the villains, but holy, if I didn’t know better, this manga might as well be propaganda on how the police are incompetent.
I’ll get straight to the point: every mystery literally has the same sequence of events: The mc and fmc are chilling, some tragedy or suspicious activity happens, the fmc lights up her eyes, and bam, there’s a back and forth with people doubting the mc or fmc until it’s solved in a boring way. Yes, it’s a “ha, gotcha” moment, kind of like scooby-doo, which doesn’t allow for the best mystery story, and because the romance isn’t ever emphasized of developed, that part of the story isn’t saving this mess of a plot.
There are, of course, some cute and funny interactions with the fmc being mute and drawing random/dumb things with the mc’s reaction to that, but besides for that, the manga doesn’t have a lot going for itself due to it falling short in mystery and romance.
…also, can’t the fmc just write out who the culprit is or how she figured it out instead of badly drawing the scene? I get it, it’s cute, but it’s a huge plot hole.

“Oh, look! There’s another crazy girl cover.”
“It’s probably going to be your run-of-the-mill yandere manga”
“Who cares anyway, I have a yandere addiction, so I’d read it anyways.”
“…”
“THIS. IS. SOCIETY’S. PEAK.”
My standards for a yandere manga are REALLY low, as most, if not all, authors don’t know how to write a proper story besides for “crazy girl loves mc deeply uwu.” As such, even though the yandere trope has the highest entertainment out of every other trope (I’d die on this opinion), there’s virtually no good stories since authors don’t know how to balance the a yandere story with edge and sufficient romance/storytelling.
Is the story
...
edgy beyond compare? Yes? Welp, expect a mid read that gets carried massively by its trope, but you’ll read it anyways because… yanderes.
Does the story actually have a story, and it’s not just the fmc being edgy and going b*tshit crazy? Well, where have you been all my life? (This stage had never been reached until now).
If you don’t get the point by now, this manga actually has a good, engaging plot, well surpassing its cursed but blessed genre. It combines the “I can fix __ (trauma)” and “yandere” premise really well by emphasizing the current predicament and taking time revealing all the plot details.
The author incorporates plenty of mystery in the fmc’s and powers while maintaining the status quo of her two-faced personality — she, for once, isn’t a dumb yandere. I don’t know how to explain it, but the author utilizes the fmc’s personality really well, making the story very flexible in mood.
The fmc’s wholesome/healing side makes the story very comforting to read, but it’s like the author continuously reminds us that this story is a psychological, trauma-induced train wreck whenever the fmc snaps or when there’s small, subtle details in the art.
The mc is, of course, traumatized, but he isn’t generic or boring, which usually comes with the “I can fix ___” trope. In these type of stories, the person being saved is usually a hollow shell that slowly opens up the the protagonist, and then they get their backstory, etc, but this manga is straight to the point. It utilizes proper character introduction for their values to get the plot going while still forming sympathy from the reader, skipping the usually mundane and drawn-out 10-20 chapters.
It’s also a nice touch with how the mc, even though broken beyond compare, still has a fickle of hope from the fmc. No matter how tragic his life is, he can still share laughs and wants to protect the last thing giving him life, giving a needed change-up from the usual constant depression that comes with these stories.
I don’t know if I highlighted this enough, but the mystery component of this story really makes this story. The mystery of the fmc, the mc’s trauma, life, etc. The author is clearly taking his time with each development, and he’s doing a wonderful job with the pacing and allure.
I just looked back at how long this review is… dear God, I really do have a yandere problem. I can’t help it- this is genuine yandere peak, and I’ve waiting so long for this type of story. My two guilty pleasures: Time-loop stories and yanderes; For an eternity I will suck off the auth- ahem. Thank you author for this masterpiece.
On a side note, the only reason this manga is not a 9.x yet is because it’s only been three chapters. Wait, you’re telling me I glazed this much just for 3 chapters? Ah, whatever. Worth it. (I’ll update it later if it’s as good as I think it is)

Minor spoilers.
Read the synopsis. What are your expectations? Well, if you expected a cliche and generic story, you just about got it with this manga.
There are so many flaws within this manga that it’s a bit funny. Mainly, though, the mc really suffers because the author decided to incorporate zero logic or thought in his creation.
Spoiler but not really a spoiler because it’s an obvious cliche plot design: The mc, after being abandoned, decides to adventure into a dungeon with ZERO combat abilities for whatever reason? What about living to save ur childhood friend? Your little sister? Nope, let me just get ganged
...
up by goblins and by the miraculous power of a dumb author he unlocks a cheat skill.
Except… the cheat skill kinda sucks? It literally has no consistency in its design. The mc easily brushes past his current, hard predicament, but in a lower-tier dungeon he struggles or his power doesn’t work in virtually the exact same scenario, if not better.
I know what the author is trying to go for: “oh no, the mc is so desperate, how emotional I am now!” or “Oh wow, the mc is so well-balanced, and he cant be an edgy solo try hard but instead he needs to rely on others!” Yeah, that would be considered good development… well, if only the author could write a story.
Putting all the flaws aside, it’s your average, generic dungeon simulator with a nerfed cheat skill. It’s still readable, but there’s no merit this manga has over thousands of its kind, especially with its flimsy writing.

Somehow… this manga isn’t trash? In fact, it’s honestly pretty good. I don’t know how this manga did it but it combined a lot of cliche tropes and premise like the teacher, kicked out, demon princesses premises, and it made it really entertaining.
I don’t know how much of an old head I’m being by mentioning “Akashic Records,” but this manga is basically “Akashic Records” if it was written in an era where mangakas love spamming successful but unoriginal tropes. Though, that isn’t a knack to the story, as it’s pretty well-written without any of the tropes being overpowering.
The plot honestly doesn’t look promising
...
initially due to the cliche set-up of an overpowered mc harem, but most of the plot points are well-developed and were given proper time to flesh out each set-up. Thi also comes with some fanservice, which I usually would be opposed to, as it adds little to nothing to a story, but the manga utilizes fanservice really well by incorporating character introduction or development with it while adding in some hilarious moments.
Some of the characters are well-developed, while some others are rough around the edges. What I mean by this is that out of the five heroines, the story could operate just as fine , if not better, if the author decided to remove two of them. Yes, I know they will eventually get there proper development and introspection, but there are honestly too many characters, making it a bit hard sometimes to keep track of each one (this especially applies since the artwork of two of them are eerily similar).
Though there are certainly some flaws in character and plot points, the manga is just fun to read. There’s enough comedy in the fanservice, but it also knows how and when to get serious enough to develop characters like the heroines and even the mc, which is uncommon nowadays for the harem genre.
If you don’t mind overpowered harem stories, certainly give this a shot.
