Ahhh, yes. Classic age-gap romance mangas with their ridiculous plot lines and questionable ethics. And then there’s classic me, who enjoys this slop like no other, probably warranted on an FBI list with how many I read.
Needless to say, this manga is RIDICULOUS. To get an age-gap narrative going you are bound to experience some ridiculous plot points, conveniences, and drama, but this might take the cake. I won’t get into the nuance of it, but the setup is basically your every other age-gap scuffle from the fmc’s family.
Though plot isn’t great, it does have a unique charm due to its cringe.
...
In a somewhat bad way, this manga does NOT hold back with its usage of words or puns — I mean, “Gungnir” was being innuendo’d as a dick at least 10 times in the first chapter alone. A lot of the jokes are really flat and cringy, but it’s also sort of charming in its own way. Also, there are some more “explorative” jokes with some pretty off humor you wouldn’t see in usual romance mangas, which added to the silliness.
As for the character themselves… yup, morally questionable like always! But hey, the mc is a good human being for not wanting to stick his “Gungnir” through her “dam” and “siege her.” I wish I was kidding when I used those words, but no, the author wrote that. Mc’s “unique” in his own way by having no shame at all to look at a freshman’s body, but he doesn’t cross any lines cuz wholesomeness.
The fmc is decent enough — she has her own sad/traumatic backstory, and it isn’t written horribly, but like the plot, it’s very weak/convenient.
A decent age-gap romance manga with its off-the-rails humor and cringe, making quite an identity. Is it a great identity? uhhh. It’s something, that’s for sure.

Gonna keep this review short since I spent way too long scrolling YouTube shorts that I forgot to review this on a school night.
This manga is just.. okay? It aspires to be somewhat original by combining different plot lines/tropes, but it fails quite miserably due to the lack of nuance and fleshed out tropes. I mean, the manga uses the instructor, isekai’d/guided, demon queen’s disciple, magic academy, etc, etc. I could go on and on with its cliches and generics in the plot/story, but I wouldn’t have much to say since it isn’t unique in any of its execution, so it isn’t impressionable.
The
...
manga really struggles to flesh out its trope/characters, making a lot of the developments to turn out just “meh.” Characters come and go, and the story is full of plot holes, which ruins any mystery or allure that the “tower” has.
For one thing, the manga isn’t horrible at any of its execution, but it just leaves something to be desired, as there are countless of other stories that have done the same generic but well-written since there was only ONE trope explored.

Welcome back to another erotica that strives to show titties and perverted scenes under the pretense of plot. I’m not going to sugarcoat or lie about anything, I am a certified erotica hater. However, there are some eroticas that I do enjoy due to them having a sound story, but this is definitely not one of those rare breeds.
The pacing/world-building of this manga just screams low-effort, as the manga inserts random scenes and concepts here and there, and it’s almost like the author forgot to explain them, so he decides to do it through a flashback when the information isn’t as relevant. It’s just
...
some really lazy and sloppy writing that could’ve been fixed if the author inserted the scene sooner instead of relying of flashbacks.
As for the characters — they are all unbelievably horny because… gender-bent world! Woo! In other words, a low-effort excuse and plot design to draw boobs. Also, it doesn’t help that the mc is a pathetic loser who doesn’t even act like a male. “Oh no, shiver me timbers, I’m so scared of boobies!”
With another note on the mc, his drive to make money doesn’t even make sense. He’s not well-written or consistent at all. For example, he was a uni student that hated his life, but now he wants to go back? Okay, sure… maybe if the author mentioned family or some other circumstances, but the author can’t think that much.
Do you like uninspired stories with wimpy mcs that never do anything with their life? Yeah… I thought so.

You know the drill already. This is yet another manga that capitalizes on the popularity of the “banished” trope without adding anything of value to the story or characters. Don’t get me wrong, there have been a decent sum of mangas that utilized a cliche or generic trope, but this is definitely not one of them. ‘
I mean, every plot line was copied at least from 5 different mangas:
> Mc gets banished and everyone hates him for no reason at all because fuck camaraderie.
> Bandits appear out of nowhere and the mc saves a girl.
> The girls is a … slave. Shocker.
> The mc
...
releases his powers from the og members, and now they are weak as bones.
You get it by now. Everything is just so dry and bland that there’s nothing to look forward to in this manga since it’s yet another rehash of the same old story with nothing original. All the characters are boring, and the plot is also just choppy. The scenes come out of nowhere without a proper transition, and all the nuances.
I only gave this one chapter because I wanted to save my time, and you should too.

Haaa… I too want three beauties loving me for virtually no reason at all, but “such coincidences don’t exist.” Well, according to that quote in this manga, it only exists in the manga world under the pretense of “plot.” Seriously, this is some sloppy slop that’s only purpose is to appease degenerates like me who like seeing cute anime girls.
It’s basically your average self-insert manga with a protagonist more dense and asexual than last time… somehow. Seriously, the mc is your average and edgy loser who forces himself to be a social outcast for no reason at all.
“Beautiful women like me? Huh, let’s
...
make them hate me.”
“I’m hot? Let’s put on glasses for no reason at all.”
“Man… I don’t understand why I’m such an outcast and have no friends.”
Oh, this extroverted person is talking to me? Get tf away from me, weirdo… I still don’t understand why I’m such an outcast… this life sure sucks.”
It’s like the author sort of had an idea what he wanted to write with the character’s premise, but he just halfasses every plot point ever to make some generic harem slop.
As for the female characters themselves, they are pretty mediocre. What I do find funny, though, is that when the author was introducing the heroines, he hyped up two of them with an in-depth personality/looks department to make them so popular, and the other girl was “yeah, she just has long, black hair.” Thanks author!
well, at least the heroines are pretty.

OH NO! IT’S MY THREE WEAKNESSES: GYARU’S, IDOLS, AND WISH FULFILLMENT, BUT ITS ALL IN ONE MANGA… oh wait, false alarm, it’s trash. Even as a man of culture, I can’t seem to enjoy this manga because it’s really low-effort.
The plot is pretty bad due to there being no back story or introduction — the manga starts off like every other story, but at the point where every other manga cuts to a flashback to properly introduce the scenario/characters, the author doesn’t even bother. It’s almost like he thought readers don’t care about an actual plot because of the power of gyarus.
Thus, the plot
...
is really hard to get into, as you really have no basis or understanding for the story itself besides for knowing the gal is an aspiring idol, and the mc helps her. Nothing deeper than that, and it’s just really lazy.
As for the gal — she’s a gal. Basically your every other one but a bit too pure since she’s completely oblivious to everything. As for the mc… self-insert. That’s all you need to know.
The manga’s also filled with unnecessary fan-service, so the weak story is somehow even weaker, but I won’t get into that. It’s basically a poorly written wish-fulfillment manga that doesn’t aspire to be anything but gal fanservice. I have low standards but c’mon.

Before I get this review started… IT SHOULDVE BEEN MEEEEE. Ahem. Now that that’s out of my system, this manga is basically just pure wish fulfillment; I mean, in what world is it realistic to be a complete sad lonesome mop of yourself who’s single while every single one of your friends are dating or married — ok, that part might he too realistic — and magically your childhood friend who had a crush on you still does and wants to marry you 20 years later. I’m not salty, you are.
Anyways, the plot is pretty entertaining despite being wish-fulfillment since it’s really cute and
...
wholesome at times, but it’s also a bit more mature due to the erotica aspect. The manga also purposely gives an “off” feeling about how the mc got so lucky to be married to such a beautiful and pretty and kind and caring idol… FUCK.
The mc’s your average self-insert, given the manga, but he’s pretty likable, while the fmc is somewhat creepy but still cute. As for the side characters, they add some nice humor into the story.
If you enjoy wish-fulfillment, then this is pretty good.
If you don’t enjoy wish-fulfillment… wait, you don’t enjoy wish-fulfillment?!?
…where’s my childhood friend who I had no idea of come out of thin air 15 years later and wants to marry me…

This manga seemed interesting and fun at first but got really boring quickly due to how one-dimensional everything is. It’s just the constant bombardment of the same jokes over and over again, making the manga lose its charm.
The plot is really one-dimensional, as the same sequence of events happen in each chapter: The fmc tries to act like a delinquent and fails, while the mc tries to fix her but also fails, and they do the same thing over and over again. With that, the humor isn’t even remotely funny anymore due to the lack of change/switch-up this manga has.
The mc is also
...
really robotic and dense, which doesn’t do much for his personality/likability. As for the fmc, she’s pretty cute, but the manga is just a frustrating experience since the two already like each other, but the author is purposely dragging out the story.
If you enjoy the same jokes being told 100 times over then have at it, but even my delinquent girl preference couldn’t save this manga.

I was starting to wonder why this manga was so peak, as everything about the characters and subtle world-building was just perfect. Even the choreography and resolutions in fight scenes are breathtaking and detailed. Of course, this manga didn’t have that “amateur feel” to it where the author is testing the ropes with random developments and cliche. It’s a well thought out manga — as expected of the author of “Darwin’s Game.”
The premise of this manga is simple: A master takes on an apprentice, and the story revolves around that. The premise may be simple, but every aspect of this manga just falls into place
...
to make an enjoyable and engaging story.
Mainly, the author uses a variety of subtle character interactions to build up the severity of the world and its concepts like mages/magic. The manga is not void of cliches, yet the cliches are done in a masked way that it’s hard to call it a “cliche” in a negative manner, as they all add a lot of insight into the characters themselves.
As for the main cast, they compliment each other well, adding to some numerous moments and more serious ones where development is necessary. For the side characters, a lot of them are fodder or foil characters where they are used to add severity to the situation, but they also get ample screen time that they don’t resemble forced characters.
Seriously, the writing of this manga is impeccable for the premise it’s given. Yes, the manga is a bit simple by tackling the “stronger and stronger through adventures/exploration” premise; yet it also feels so unique due to the writing and art.

This is a very simple manga that follows its premise. Because of this, each chapter is basically the same rinse-and-repeat actions from both of the characters, making them only reason to read thus being the charm of the characters.
Though, the characters aren’t the best either because the mc, despite being married, does not exhibit anything that would deem him a husband. In other words, he’s not realistic at all because he gets embarrassed at the slightest things like a kiss, which doesn’t even make sense. He’s also just a shitty human being, but so am I so I don’t care as much.
As for
...
the fmc, she’s okay — she was really dry in the first two chapters, which was absolutely horrible since the lack of emotion didn’t make for a fun or interesting story, but the author changed it up a bit with little insights of her being embarrassed later on, making her a lot more likable and charming.
The plot, like I said before, is really simple: The mc is unsatisfied and thinks of a way to make her wife embarrassed, but the wife then doesn’t react, the mc gets embarrassed somehow instead, and the wife is actually embarrassed or finds him amusing, but she doesn’t show it.
It’s a really shallow story about newlyweds — it’s almost like the only thing the author can do to remind us that they are adults and a “mature” couple would be inserting sexual jokes/thoughts/actions. Not my cup of tea.
