From the title alone, I thought this manwha would’ve been another one-trick pony by relying on a system, and it’s trope; however, I was pleasantly surprised with how dynamic and diverse the plot lines are.
Instead of fixating on one rinse and repeat plot to ultimately become stronger, this manwha switches in between different missions of necessities for the mc to provide for his sustenance and lifestyle. To add to this, the main character forms relations with people along his way, with each character being helpful, serious, or comedic-relief, being unique in their own right.
Going back to the mc, he has to find the resolve
...
to overcome first time experiences and struggles while being relatively wise. Though, later on in the chapters, he seems to rely too much on his talent and doesn’t try to improve his body’s wellbeing and brushes off any suggestions, which can be excused because of the innate human nature but, it’s still annoying.
However, I will not excuse the fact that nothing of his former life is explained, nor how he knows how to activate the wide variety of magic in his arsenal. It may also seem like the mc is overpowered, but the author didn’t write him with an insurmountable amount of plot armor, and the mc doesn’t BS his way through stronger opponents.
Moving onto the world building and setting itself, there’s a very minimal amount except for the fact that it’s futuristic and eerily similar to Cyberpunk 2077. With the comparison to Cyberpunk, naturally, the art is insanely f*king good. I usually praise manwhas for their good art, but the character designs and fight scenes are on another level compared to most “good” art manwhas. The art really adds to the setting and characters, making it a visually appealing read.
I wouldn’t classify this as a solo mc story with enemies as stepping stones because he does struggle, but it’s also not an amazing piece of writing due to the lack of explanations and elaboration. Overall, this manwha is a very reader-friendly story that shouldn’t turn off most people, well, except for the first three chapters or so because the mc is weak.
