First off, the title is a bit misleading. It's not a typical slow life that gets stagnant in 15 chapters.

For me, a self proclaimed "Isekai Raccoon", I'm glad to read any kind of work where a real person gets over a fantasy world. As such, even with the first few chapters being nothing out of what you would expect from a light novel adaptation, I was already hooked (not that It's difficult to get me to read an isekai).

But there's a few aspects that convey this isn't the usual slow life op mc wins-every-clash. Aspects that aren't groundbreaking in literature or anything, but are a ... nice little mixture of elements from other type of stories that usually wouldn't be present in this genre that's so fixated on some tropes.

From small coming of age elements and the unusally wide repertoire of expressions the artist flaunts using the femc, to the mc and femc's solid friendship that ties up all those little things together, this story gets more than the slow life isekai treatment from me. That means, I'm defnitely not forgetting this one in a week or two.

I'm genuinely so shocked at how beautifully written this manga is, i dived in thinking it'll be a decent time killer but damn the characters have so much depth, their interactions with each other are so brilliantly fleshed out, they feel so real. All of their worries feel so properly grounded, the themes feel so realistic, the last arc especially was really great we saw character development for characters we met like 5 chapters ago.
The only weak part of this manga is the start, it has a comparatively slow and generic start, if you can get past that you're in for a shitton of ... enjoyment.
The best part of this manga is easily the chemistry between the main duo, the stinky fakeness that isekai female main characters usually have is nowhere to be seen. Theyre both their own people with their own dreams and desires, the banter between them feels extremely realistic and honestly adorable. You can easily see how much thought the author has poured into everyones motivations and character, no one feels like a cardboard cut out stereotype. In terms of numbers for me its

All in all its an easy 9/10 for me, i hope it gets an anime someday and i hope the god forsaken axe doesnt claim it.

Whenever you read a slow-life manga, you can’t have the highest of expectations. Though, despite already having low expectations, this still failed to be enjoyable. The beginning was relatively unique with the mc wanting to be an architect and not being the most powerful, but it simply got boring. Slow-life mangas are supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable read, which at times this was, but most of the time it was pretty chaotic with a lack of excitement or direction in the plot. At the end of the day, it’s your typical slow-life manga.
