This anime embodies the quintessential elements of what made gangs appear cool to kids from the 80s and 90s, gangs in anime are almost always foul douche bags that bully others, even the "good ones" are trash(like with toman in tokyo revengers). But here the bofurin are actually great people they have strong bonds with the towns people and are very well supported by them, for once the gang members are the good guys and their agenda is to protect the town, they embody the ideals of loyalty and protecting those weaker than them. Honestly the premise is really good.

The main character is one of ... the best parts of this series, hes a rash cocky bastard that doesn't know when to back down and honestly thats what we need, more mc's who aren't whimpering cowards, that said he also has a surprising amount of depth to him hes not just a gimmicky violence freak. Hes got a complex about his appearance and is bad at communicating but guess what he fucking grows as a person when he sees that the towns people actually see him for who he is and accept him, albeit gradual there are changes to his perception of himself and how others view him.

Now the crown jewel of this anime is undoubtedly the god tier animation and crazy fight choreography, this anime has arguably the best consistent animation and fight choreography of any 13 episode series ever made. Cloverworks went absolutely balls deep. It is absolutely insane how fluid the fights feel. Whenever Im rewatching the fights(which ive done like at least 10 times now) it just scratches an itch in my brain because of how utterly perfect it is.

if you're still not convinced, just give it 1 episode thats all i ask of you. episode 1 perfectly encapsulates what this series will be moving forward with a perfect display of all of the series greatest elements.

Having a day loop over and over again is probably a fantasy many of us have had at the ends of vacations dreading to return to class or work. So having that as a premise I went into the story expecting light-hearted fun and some daily adventures now that all they have is free time. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of the story and its characters, in such a short amount of chapters it was able to show how dreadful a reality like this can actually be and how our characters are coping with their reality. It was really beautiful how this mange ... could switch between pure fun and enjoyment at being able to whatever you want whenever you want however you want to the depression like feeling of knowing that you're trapped in this world forever. The characters are both very well written. In terms of numbers id say

I'm genuinely so shocked at how beautifully written this manga is, i dived in thinking it'll be a decent time killer but damn the characters have so much depth, their interactions with each other are so brilliantly fleshed out, they feel so real. All of their worries feel so properly grounded, the themes feel so realistic, the last arc especially was really great we saw character development for characters we met like 5 chapters ago.
The only weak part of this manga is the start, it has a comparatively slow and generic start, if you can get past that you're in for a shitton of ... enjoyment.
The best part of this manga is easily the chemistry between the main duo, the stinky fakeness that isekai female main characters usually have is nowhere to be seen. Theyre both their own people with their own dreams and desires, the banter between them feels extremely realistic and honestly adorable. You can easily see how much thought the author has poured into everyones motivations and character, no one feels like a cardboard cut out stereotype. In terms of numbers for me its

All in all its an easy 9/10 for me, i hope it gets an anime someday and i hope the god forsaken axe doesnt claim it.

Goblin slayer season 1 was nothing legendary but it was a decent watch with a good idea that was well executed. The second season in comparison feels like a drag to watch. It feels filler-ish even when the main story is taking place, the character interactions are decently fun to watch, the action is pretty mediocre compared to season one. the one saving grace is the final arc, which is also pretty mediocre compared to season 1.i dislike long and draggy reviews so to sum it up:

overall: just skip, its a waste of time.

It is without a doubt one of the best manhwa out there, its shocking how underrated it is.
Its best and biggest achievement would for sure be the top tier dialogue and art, with it its able to absolutely nail anything from a perfect fight scene to a hilarious interaction between characters. The characters and their chemistry is also truly something other manhwas can take a lesson from.
Overall in terms of action and comedy it would definitely be a 10 but of course everything good is plagued with a little bit of bad;
the weak part of this story is the irl aspect of it, it ... feels meaningless, the characters are not nearly as interesting, the dialogue also gets drab and it feels inconsequential for the most part, but if u can get through those part, you'll enjoy it a lot

Overall it is a solid 8/10
To a highly rated manhwa like this its only fair to mention both the good and the bad;
The best part of this manhwa is without a doubt the unrivaled art and its ability to hype up events, the story is pretty straightforward and the relationships between chung myung and his fellow sect members and the upper brass is very fun.

And now the bad, to be fair only real downside to this manhwa is the crappy pacing which really does leave u feeling like the author wants to skewer his readers and barbeque them till they're just right and then sprinkle ... on the goood shit, although the payoff is almost worth the waiting and irregular dialogue this manhwa, i recommend binging it once and coming back to it every 6-7 months since most of the individual chapters although a spectacle to behold cus of the god tier art, progress the story very little
