This is not a romance, or a love story, and shouldn't be seen as such.
"Haru Tsuzuru, Sakura Saku Kono Heya de" is primarily about overcoming grief.
From the start it's clear, that this is not about getting to a happy ending, but rather finding the strength to begin anew.
The story of this short manga is simple, the main charcter Haruki finds her deceased lovers diary and begins seeing an apparition of her. Together they fill in the blank spaces in the diary, while unraveling the story of their love.
Throughout the chapters Haruka retraces the steps she took with Sakura, and meets people who have
...
a connection to her. It's those scenes and dialogs accompanying them, that make this title shine.
The main downside of here is the art, it can be generously called "good", it doesn't detract the scenes, but it doesn't elevate them either.
I recommend it, it is a short read, just remember, that this is a sad manga, that will make you sad.
