Both are about extremely strong assassins that are living in an ordinary environment. Teenage Mercenary tends to be a bit more over the top while The Fable is more realistic and methodical but both are really good.

Both of these stories are nearly 1 to 1 in terms of plot, both follow the lives of teenagers turned mercenaries when they return to their hometowns. If you're willing to look past the downgrade in art, and a rather shoddily put together main premise, fans of Teenage Mercenary will likely enjoy God of Blackfield

Both Webtoons/manwhas have a gray-haired high school protagonist. Both manwhas are action based and have protags that do most of the fighting. Both Grey and Ijin are smart, observant, and calculating. These two manhwas give off a similar vibe and keep the reader on the edge of their seat.

Story has a splash of school and some business/gang drama going on. Main characters are high schoolers who somehow always get involved in fights.

Both are about the mc's being extremely strong soldiers in the army, till they leave because of their family. They both try to keep their past a secret so they and their family can live normal lives.

Both MC are actually quite powerful and are (clumsily) trying to adjust to normal modern life and high school, which isn't easy when enemies are lurking around.

Both MC are trying to live a peaceful life again as teenagers and trying to protect their dear one's. They have also kinda similar friends around them.

Both shows doesn't try to be new or anything. They have a good story with a great art and amazing fight choreography which makes it worth your time. If you like one then you'll definitely enjoy another

In both series the main characters are teenaged soldiers who come from a life of warfare and returns home going back to high school. While in FMP Sousuke is tasked with protecting a girl, Teenage Enrollment has Ijin who has reunited with his family and protects them while attending school.

Similar feeling of one guy overpowering hordes of opponents with hand-to-hand combat (or sometimes with weapons in the case of Teenage Mercenary). For readers that like karma descending upon evil people.
