Any show/manga I give a 5+ I enjoyed at least a little and any show/manga I give an 8+ I would highly recommend.
This is just a dump of some of my random opinions, thoughts, "hot" takes, etc.
1997 Berserk is better than the golden age arc in the manga. I loved the manga arc obviously but the show especially with its soundtrack is just brilliant. I am honestly really surprised almost nobody agrees with this. (I guess I watched the anime first and most people read the manga first maybe? Still...)
Also if the first episode of 1997 berserk wasn't included, it could be concluded that the end of 1997 berserk is a non-cliffhanger ending and guts ends up dying. I think this would be even better as it makes the non-includes characters insignificant and the golden age arc could easily have been its own worthy story. It also captures the tragedy of berserk fully (I say its better because 97 berserk never got a sequel)
