As expected from a webcomic, the plot or flow of the story isn’t done well. Yes, there are plot points and conflicts with resolutions; however, it’s all pretty minute or boring things that doesn’t make the manga very engaging. It also should be stated that despite the manga trying to go toward the relief, development, wholesome ambiance, it fails pretty miserably.

The characters are weak in the beginning with a lot of space to improve; because of that, the author has set the two characters to help each other. However, while in the process of doing so, the characters are boring and don’t have a ... unique personality that makes them lovable. Because of that, the wholesome moments also aren’t that wholesome because the readers can’t get attached to a non-likable character.

If you emphasize on the minute details of a wholesome manga, then this probably won’t suit your taste. However, with the occasional plot hole and disengagement moment, there’s some wholesomeness here and there.

This manga has become one of my favorites for the superb reason of its pacing.
The main guy and girl have been trapped in a zone of loneliness and isolation.
It is only after meeting each other that both of them decide to make slow and steady efforts to change.

The pacing of this manga pulled me in, the slow yet casual pacing feels just right.
There is no sudden development or big twist out of nowhere, the characters are about as normal as it gets with normal problems.

Sure this series may lean towards fan services sometimes but it's not the selling point.
The gem of Kurao Ano relies on ... regular mental health challenges which we can all relate to.

Plot
MC volunteers to be class president, along with our FMC (a gloomy girl) in his class. MC has always been alone, but he really wants to change that by working hard and get new friends. This is a journey of characters growing by facing their weaknesses.

Review
This a very generic romcom. Its definitely not bad, but just plain boring at times. It starts average and just stays average, so you can't say it betrayed your expectations either. From the very first chapter, you can feel that its just another generic entry, and that it is not even trying to be unique. You will read the ... new chapter if you accidentally see it, but as there's no excitement, you won't ever explicitly check for any new chapters.

The art is clean, and the author obviously has a thing for big breasts. But its also kinda plain, with no details. There's rarely any effects or "movement" or detailed backgrounds (just plain white everywhere). It gives the art a very static/lifeless feeling, which is the opposite of what we want for a dynamic genre like romcom.
There's very little ecchi or comedy. We see the occasional "accidental grope" or swimsuit chapter, but otherwise the author is wasting his big breast drawing skills.
Its mostly slice of life, with some occasional romcom tropes. There's zero chemistry between the main leads. But we do have side characters pushing them into a relationship, which is where we get some decent comedy.

The chapters are often short, and make very little progress. I think if the chapters were longer, with more content, the series will be more easy to recommend.

Overall, I would say that if you keep your expectations low, this would be a decent read to pass time. But if you are looking for something above average or something interesting, then this is not the series for you.

As a quick sum up of feelings, this isn't a good manga yet it isn't a bad one. If you want something trashy to fill your time for 30 or so chapters then this is good enough. There's nothing special about it, very generic main characters and the other characters just kinda appear and that's it there's really no growth etc and the attempts at character growth are there... but again nothing happens. Just a manga where nothing of interest really happens.

There seems to be some sort of relationship between the 2 leads, yets at the same time they barely even seem to ... be friends. The mangas all over the place and it doesn't really have a set goal in mind. It very much seems to try and go for some sort of arc yet again nothing ever happens, it sets something up in one chapter, and then once again nothing happens.

A very directionless manga that has some nice art and enjoyable enough chapters, but really a very nothing manga. don't go in with any expectations and you can find some form of enjoyment, because it still has some redeeming factors. Only read if you want something quick to get you through a afternoon or something idk.
