Review
Mutants/Heroes with special powers are sent to an isolated island where a special hero academy will train them. MC's mission is to kill her super-powered classmates one by one without getting caught while she herself has no powers.
How can she kill super-powered students without getting caught? Well, easy. The author will provide her with the best super power of them all - plot armor and author's favoritism. All the cast would be turned into idiots, just so MC can appear like a genius. The show has two braincells - one for MC and one for the rest of the cast.
Even in the most
...
suspicious circumstances, the side cast would never arrive at the most obvious conclusion of MC being the killer. The entire plot bends over backwards to make our MC seem like some insane genius assassin. Even the characters that are supposed to be "brilliant" become fools just so the author can write himself out of a corner and save their precious MC.
There's a x-men like plot in the background, but nothing worth the headache of reading through the side cast's dumbfuckery.

Plot
MC is a weakling who leads an adventurer party made up of his talented childhood friends. But, due to misunderstandings and dumb luck, everyone keeps assuming that MC is strong and a mastermind.
This trope is seen in many series like tearmoon empire (wisdom of the empire), one punch man (King engine), one piece (god usopp or buggy) etc..
Review
Positives:
1. plenty of fan-service and diverse waifus like tomboy, yandere, step-sister(?) etc.. in the harem
2. funny [and careless] MC - especially his misunderstandings with the rest of the cast
3. morally gray-ish characters - They have no qualms with stealing stuff or working with shady organizations
...
or massacring criminals or manipulating others etc...
Negatives:
1. awkward pacing - There's nothing happening sometimes and it can be pretty boring.
2. Generic Isekai - At its core, the setting/world-building/characters are all unoriginal. Do not expect anything creative or complex.
Overall
If you keep your expectations low and don't take the plot seriously, this is a pretty decent Isekai. It is also simple, and you either like it or you don't. You can judge its vibe from just the first episode. Personally, I love the light-hearted vibe of the MC (kinda like Cid) who just lives in his own world of delusions.

Plot
FMC is a martial artist, who is hated by a everyone in Murim for practicing "un-orthodox" martial arts (whatever that means). The only person she trusted was her lover, who betrayed her by feeding her poisonous fruit. After dying, she woke up in the body of a concubine of the emperor (who coincidentally died by the same poisonous fruit at the same time). Now, FMC seeks to become stronger and seek revenge upon her ex-lover. In the mean time, the emperor is falling in love with her because she finds her "interesting" and romance ensues.
Review
Comedy is the main strength of this series and some
...
misunderstandings are hilarious. This is the main reason to read this series. Despite the tragic past and the general seriousness of the palace drama, FMC and emperor manage to make us laugh a lot.
The series raises your hopes with the badass FMC in the initial chapters, giving you hints of a power fantasy. But except for some rare [and brief] occasions of combat/training, FMC's entire life generally revolves around emperor + romance track. Despite being one of the strongest martial artists in existence, she is reduced to nothing but the same "honest but dumb eccentric woman" character trope that the ML (emperor) finds "interesting". After 60 chapters, we still don't have a single proper fight for FMC.
While we do have romance, I recommend reading this as a comedy. The writing is too inconsistent for me to take any of the plot seriously. The characters can become smarter or dumber, based on what the plot demands. We also have a bunch of forced misunderstandings that keep the characters separate.
Overall, if you keep your expectations in check and just read it for the comedy, it is a decent manhwa. The minute you start to take it seriously, all the glaring problems with writing surface and ruin the series.

Plot
FMC (empress) regresses after being poisoned (and betrayed) by her family who were planning to overthrow emperor. She decides to take revenge on the family and successfully joins up with the emperor in the first 2-3 chapters. Then, It becomes a dumb romance where the "tyrant" emperor is head over heels in love with FMC.
Review
This is a short series ( 70 chapters). The art was decent and the character designs were hot. These are the only positive things I can say about this series.
The core issue with this series is that the plot keeps flopping around without any clear direction. And all other problems are
...
just a consequence of that. The characters especially felt shallow and boring. We were just told that these characters are clever, but never shown any of their actual intelligent actions. Just like we were told that these characters were in love, but not how they fell in love. At best, its all just childhood romance and childhood trauma (again, all of this is told via narration and never "shown").
This series has the most useless and passive FMC in the history of all shoujo (otome Isekai?) manhwas. She acts all "cool" about her revenge, but other than that, she's just a wallflower for the emperor to love. She leaves everything to the emperor (and his staff). I was frustrated in the past by dumb leads making stupid decisions, but I could not even get angry at this character because she just did nothing. Her character has no intelligence, personality or guts.
Conclusion
Boring series that never goes anywhere. You will be left feeling empty.

The series has a lot of potential.
1. There are some great ideas inside this story. Using "looks are not important" as a meta narrative for the entire story was really brilliant.
2. The art is great and hard-carried this series. The villains of this series are basically drawn like elves and they were beautiful/hot.
3. I was crying during the emotional climax of this series. Across its runtime, it does accurately hit some high points with its twists or drama.
But the execution of the series really dragged it down.
1. lots of padding due to long inner monologues, repetitive dialogues/scenes, recaps of the lore,
...
long info dumps etc... If you removed the padding, you can easily compress the series length by 40%.
2. FMC is a Tragedy heroine of shoujo manga. she has to keep being suicidal or suffer from some trauma or keep wondering whether anyone loves her or overthinking/complicating everything etc.. I was just so tired of reading these long miserable self-pitying inner monologues. The whole rape trauma part of FMC's childhood is very weird and unnecessary.
3. The characters don't communicate properly and do dumb shit. The characters suffer a lot due to misunderstandings. FMC deserves special mention for doing mental gymnastics like a clown and jumping to the most weird conclusions. All of these supposed "smart" characters making the dumbest decisions, just so they could create more drama or attribute it to being "blinded by love" smh.
4. The lack of a strong side-cast. A lot of my favorite fantasy characters in other series are usually maids/butlers/guards who serve the main characters. Except for the main three characters in this series, every other character is very forgettable.

Story
Ginger finds a novel that describes the past and future events involving Ginger, her rival Lerazie and the cursed prince (curse forces him to listen to another person's thoughts whenever he makes eye contact with them). The novel presents Ginger as the villainess in the love story of prince and Lerazie. Trying to change her fate of villainess, she plans to make the prince fall in love with her and break his curse using the knowledge of future events.
Review
The most significant aspect of this series is that Ginger is dumb. Most of the comedy relies on FL being a dumb and transparent (shows her feelings
...
on her face) character. The prince falls in love with her because she's dumb and doesn't put on a false mask. So, both the romance and comedy require the FL's stupidity to work.
If you don't like dumb female leads who keep forgetting important details or making the worst choices, then please don't touch this series. If you are okay with a dumb FL, this might be worth a read for her hilarious expressions.
The series is short (just 72 chapters). And it manages to tell a simple and complete story. I would not say that it is highly creative or unique. But it avoids the trap of extending the story with unnecessary misunderstandings and drama. Whenever FL starts to overthink, the author manages to quickly resolve any issues by simple communication between characters. The fast pacing helps, as we don't have to slog through the generic plot.
The art is good enough. Usually, fantasy romance manhwas are known for their extravagant art with dresses, architecture, interior design, decorations around panels etc.. This series keeps the art simple, but the character designs are pretty hot.
Overall, I think Ginger's charm sort of wears off after a while. For me, I had to power through the final chapters as the joke of Ginger being dumb became tired. I recommend reading a few chapters and judge if its worth continuing based on how much you like/hate Ginger.

Good:
1. Great Art. The main reason for the high rating.
2. Hot characters. FMC is really cute with her indifferent expression. MC.. is good enough (but the design reminds me of utsuro/shouyou sensei from Gintama).
Bad:
1. Horrible pacing: Even after 26 chapters, I have no idea where the story is going.
2. Passive FMC: Abusive childhood is not a valid excuse for a boring character (especially an Isekai-ed main character).
3. lack of strong secondary cast: Almost everyone other than MC/FMC feel like background characters.
Overall
I am not into the yandere MC thing. According to some other reviews, this seems to be a story
...
where the characters grow out of their abusive childhood trauma. But the pacing is such a slog, that I can't justify reading this anymore.

Story
Girl (MC) gets Isekai-ed into a novel as a random orphan living in an abusive orphanage. The duke of the north (ML of the novel) is visiting the orphanages to adopt, but all children start crying immediately when he looks at them. Finally, he meets our girl who can look into his eyes without crying and decides to adopt her as his daughter. The rest of the story is a slice of life comedy between a father and daughter with some aristocratic politics here and there.
Review
Good:
1. The primary characters (MC and ML) are both decent. MC is a cute bundle of chaotic energy and fun
...
to watch.
2. There's a lot of comedy throughout the series. The banter between MC and ML are full of hilarious dialogues.
3. The art is beautiful. In scenes where we see the mysterious power of beast fangs, the art has such a oppressive vibe, that you can feel the suffering of the characters.
Bad:
1. There's a shift in pacing after the first season (50 chapters). The chapters are short (around 1/3 of the usual length) and the plot moves at a very slow pace.
2. There are quality side characters (eg: stalker Biena or White leopard lady ) who rarely get any focus. They only appear in a few panels and fade into the background after that. MC + ML take up lots of screen-time (even after 100 chapters), which makes the world feel small and monotonous.
Overall
If you are looking for comedy and fuzzy warm vibes, this series is for you. While there's a background plot, the main focus is on father/daughter relationship. First three chapters are just setting up, and chapter 4 is where things start settling down. That should be a good point to decide if you like or hate this series.

A direct quote from the manga - "Common sense doesn't exist here, but happiness surely does"
I really hope that quote sets the right expectations for you. This is MC adventuring with MILFs and having lots of sex. Technically, There is a background plot of demon lord + hero. Its very generic with the "hero kicked me out" formula except for the MC marrying the mothers of hero party's members and forming an adventurer party with those MILFs. The payoff is probably seeing the downfall of hero's party, as they realize how much MC was carrying them with paperwork/chores/coordination and so on.
If you are in
...
the mood for some Isekai trash and won't mind explicit sex scenes, this will be a good read. The story won't make much sense, so please turn off your brain.

I will keep this short.
Positives
1. a decent comedy
2. Its a complete story with consistent pacing.
Negatives
1. Absolutely the dumbest and most irritating FMC ever. Almost made me drop the series multiple times.
2. A lot of plot feels contrived as it relies on FMC being dumb and making a tiny issue into a huge complicated melodramatic mess. 90% of the problems are a result of FMC not killing the villainess despite having multiple opportunities (and reasons) to do so.
3. Side characters are boring and shallow. They have their hilarious moments here and there, but are still very forgettable.
...
Overall
Its a very forgettable series. Its not bad, but if you are going to read this, please keep your expectations low.
