I will be blunt, this Isekai sucks.
It has fallen behind a lot of other titles even though it had a head start from 2022.
In this case, I would even go so far to advocate people to not read Hazure Hantei.
The story had potential but it's terribly flawed with an artyle that portrays everyone like a kid. Plus it's not in good taste to see there is more effort being put into showing disturbing/sickening/abuse scenes than the actual development
The only redeeming feature are the skeleton bros, I found myself shaking my head in respect as they are teaching the MC common sense (literally).

This Manhwa is a contender for being a top title for several reasons.
With a handful of chapters, you are swiftly engrossed in the epic adventure spearheaded by a virtuous MC. He is a great influence, he doesn't just fix problems, he "eliminates them." His past life experience is utilized with accuracy, but not to the point where it is unreasonable. Looking at the story ahead, it only gets harder with each challenge and the MC adapts. The pulling factor for me is the insanely epic action scenes. They look and feel realistic with a smooth flow you only see in a few other works. To describe it, it's combat ... Nov 18, 2024
The Barbarian of Seoul Station
(Manga)
add
This appears to be a new Manhwa release so as a passionate fan of the Korean series I gave it a shot.
Even at just chapter 9, I am convinced of the appeal of The Barbarian of Seoul Station. The twist here centers around the MC not dying in the world, but being someone from the magical world. Who somehow got thrown into earth, raised by good people, and returned to fight in the fantasy era. Setup alone, this is cool, and it's even cooler seeing the MC's resolve. I would vouch he has more passion and grit than the other MC of the popular Manhwa title. In ... Nov 16, 2024
Isekai de Skill wo Kaitai shitara Cheat na Yome ga Zoushoku Shimashita: Gainen Kousa no Structure
(Manga)
add
This manga has the title of being one of the first adaptions of Isekai as a whole.
After re-reading the whole series, I can vouch this specific series is good. Sure there is the harem feature, but the characters themselves are unique. Everyone has their own distinct personalities, there is nothing dry or bland across the story whatsoever. The common flaw with "harem" titles centers on soul less people? Like females with no personalities or relying on tropes for development. Luckily this title is not like that, each character has enough room to explore their lives, explanations for details, enforced with decent action. The MC is a good guy, ... Nov 14, 2024

I saw a random update of this manga and gave it a read.
After breezing through the chapters especially....chapter 15, I was disgusted. The story itself is self-explanatory, as there are a few other titles associated with hosting a bar of sorts, etc. The MC himself isn't reliable at all, if anything he is far from it. The only saving grace is his little dignity in trying to maintain his state, but it crumbles apart like cookies. Looking at the female characters, there is some uniqueness going on here. A typical unruly girl cast who does things to get the male MC's attention. Just when I thought it was okay, ... Nov 8, 2024
My F-Rank High School Life
(Manga)
add
I attempted to go through the whole series out of curiosity.
However, I have decided to drop the manhwa at chapter 65 with no regrets. The art style was randomly changed completely in chapter 54. Sure this does not sound too bad, but it created this sort of confusing vibe while reading each chapter. My issue is not with this, but featuring the story and confusing MC. Execution-wise, the story is sort of confusing. I mean sure we got the bottom riser from school and all, but why is the story having all of these back-and-forth tugs with the MC? Even at this moment, I don't entirely get it. ... Nov 7, 2024
Mayonaka Heart Tune

I randomly recognized some of the previous works of the artist and gave it a shot.
I consider this title one of the top competitors for its completely unique take on the "harem" category. The story is just about a capable MC who seeks to find his old "love" from the long past from one of the girls. Setup-wise, it is already unique and it gets better. There are no bland or pale characters, as this is a common flaw with most "harem" titles. Each girl has a unique personality with their own values, goals, and standards which they abide by. Pair this great concept with an MC who is impressively ... Nov 4, 2024

Even though I read the manga, I will directly admit I do not like the Anime adaptation at all.
I gave it a shot randomly since I didn't know there was a show...only to pull out at episode 5. There are several flaws with this show but there are 2 issues I want to focus on: The production in terms of art style and music is very generic. There's nothing unique or eye-catching about either, they are both very plain and forgettable. It's not possible to feel excitement or intensity of the sort when the design is not able to express it properly. Pair this with characters who seem ... Nov 4, 2024
Becoming a Legendary Ace Employee

I believe this is the only Manhwa I am reading where the story focuses on the working life.
The MC is just an unlucky guy who was barely making ends meet in a Blue Collar job? Then all of a sudden, he gets an invitation to join the world of gamification at work. Sounds funky but it's true, the entire story is about MC moving up in the workforce as a game. I admire the gaming system for not turning him into a complete "cheat," it's more like a guide. Where it offers him more options and knowledge while he still acts on his good values. Not much to say, ... Nov 4, 2024
I randomly read the entire series in several hours, and I have come to enjoy this Manhwa.
The MC was dealt an unlucky hand of cards in his original life and somehow he got thrown into a Murim world. His dedicated past life efforts created a focused mindset allowing him to carry good-willed values for himself, others, and the world. The story is a fusion of the MC applying modern world concepts in a Murim dimension while learning other worldly martial arts. There is one aspect of this Manhwa I have come to enjoy, it's the brilliant integration of modern world ideas. Fast food, transportation, housing, and even ... |
