I read the first chapter as a joke because... Well look at the title.
This is not a deep manga, but god its fast paced and super cute. There is little drama, the artwork has only a handful of blood splatters, and the character interactions are entirely wholesome. Jade-kun is just a gigantic sweetie who just needs the push of the cute, 🥳 unsexualized (thank god) 🥳, loli dragon he adopts to hold a conversation and get closer with his favourite guild receptionist - another sweetie pie. There is very little of substance here, the MC starts age 12 in the first chapter and ends age 24?? ... Jul 29, 2023

I’ll be honest: Although I love the romance genre, I prefer subtle ones that develop in later chapters. To add to this, I’ve only read ones with drama or a harem, so this is one of the few romance mangas I’ve read with no other competing love interest. The manga is jammed packed with wholesome moments while progressing in character or plot. It’s a nice read considering there’s actual progress in relationships, and the story containing other plot points besides romance. If there was a fault, then it would stem from the predictability/lack of originality. On a side note, the mc can definitely be “cringy” ... |
