Both series are refreshing high school slice of life series with a solid focus on the development between the friendships between the characters. Both Rintarou and Shima's lives change for the better when they meet the female protagonists of each series, Waguri and Mitsumi respectively. Both series are delightful and put a huge smile on my face whenever I read them. If you liked one series, you’re sure to enjoy the other!

Both Romeo and Juliet type stories about two teens at different schools which both have comically intense rivalries. Main difference is that Boarding School Juliet is more comedy focused, while this one is more romance focused.

similar art styles, cute romance and well written

Both follow male leads who appear intimidating and standoffish but are actually gentle giants who care deeply for those around them. They both learn to face their insecurities and better themselves after saving and becoming acquainted with a sweet female lead who attends an all-girls school. They both also have wonderful friends around them who are there to help, and these friendships are very well fleshed out. Both also involve one of the main characters wanting to pursue baking as a profession. Both feature healthy relationships and friendships alike, and if you enjoy one, I recommend the other.

Both manga are high school stories that deal with romance and interpersonal relationships in a group of friends. They both have moments of comedy and drama, and the interactions that the characters have with each other help make the overall story more enjoyable and relatable.

MCs portrayed as "dangerous Delinquents" when in reality they're attempting to better themselves because they''ve been lacking social relations throughout their lives. Beastars initally becomes heavy in romance, then shifts into several different genres such as mystery, action, discrimination etc. It especially explores a complex world-builidng where carnivore and herbivore deal with each other and there's many elements that have never been done in anime/manga. Fragrant Flower doesn't involve literal sluts and heavy topics, while it does progress with your typical anime tropes, it's still a charming character-driven romance that also goes in depths of other adorable characters. The melodramatic moments honestly makes this a laid-back  read more

Strong artstyle similarity, likely to the point of direct influence

Both of these manga have incredible character development and outstanding art styles in their own right. They are similar in the sense of unity between characters, each set in a standard high-school premise, they bridge emotional gaps and truly aim to help and better understand one another. No characters are left out or used to fill in blank spaces, they each have unique drives and goals. Ultimately, readers can feel the impacts these characters have on one another and how much they unconditionally care. Both manga are still releasing new chapters! So excited to see how each of these stories unfold!

It's that type of romance manga that it's very dramatic and wholesome but on top of it all, it doesn't fall in your "typical drama cliche" and brings something new to the table on almost every characters development. The kind of reading time where you want to grow with the characters and smile at every arc and accomplishment. And, most importantly, characters are allowed to be just friends and bond together in search of something great for themselves and others.

Koe no Katachi gives some of the same vibes as Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku. So if you enjoyed Koe no katachi then you will most likely enjoy Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku. As a quick note: The drama in both is also decently similar to one and another, with the whole looks like an asswhole but really isn't.

The MCs of both manga are delinquent-like with a sweet side on them. While Zeikin has a more slice of life style to it, Kaoru Hana focuses mainly on romance, so if you liked Zeikin and are feeling like reading some romance, give Kaoru Hana a try. As for Zeikin, the MC gets on quests to learn from people and books (he is pretty curious), being a pretty laid back manga. While on Kaoru Hana, the main couple is trying to develop their relationship and understand one another

If you enjoyed "The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity" then I would recommend you "You and I are polar opposites" it has the same happy feeling, the romance is great, theres not a lot of kidding around, and the sidecast also gets attention which gives a nice feeling, I would heavily recommend "you and I are polar opposites" if you are looking for another romance to read!

Similarities: The relationship dynamics between the two are quite similar in the sense that they're very sweet and caring to each other. Lots of fluff and the female leads both have attended an all girls school and are quiet. Differences: Hibi Chouchou doesn't have as much opposition to the relationship as Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku does.

I am honestly surprised no one has made this recommendation before. These two series have a lot in common. They are both drama romance series with a similar coming of age type story. I think that the way the main characters mature and develop their relationships with the people around them is particularly similar. The main difference between the two would be the heavier tone of Ibarahime, but even if that is normally not your thing I still think you should give it a shot.

Both mangas give a simmilar wholesome vibe. I think it is because they're both slice of life stories that focus on the slow but sure development of the relationship between the protegonist as they evolve in their own way. Both mangas also show friendship and the importance of communication in relationships.

Both mains deal with anxiety and trying to cover it up by pretending everything is alright, and gain character development as they get closer to new friends in high school. While Butai ni Sake! is theatre-focused and Kaoru Hana is romance-focused, they're both very wholesome and cute manga.

Both are romance manga that also have a good focus on friendship and character development. The story and characters are all very wholesome in both as well.

They are both really, really cute! The atmosphere, love and character development are similar.

Both are cute and fluffy rom-coms with a bit of drama sprinkled about. They are both well written and the themes are handled maturely. The characters are all likable and develop each chapter. I highly recommend.

light-hearted school romances with a misunderstood but kind, scary-looking MC.

Both are romances with a misunderstood, scary-looking MC. Honey is a bit more drama-heavy, while Kaoru Hana is very light-hearted.

Both are light-hearted romances with a misunderstood, scary-looking MC. Beast Master is quite short, and has more violent aspects to it.

Both have cutely in love couples, being at a similar level of wholesomeness. While Kaoru Hana develops in highschool, Watashi to Kekkon tells us the passage of the relationship of an old couple. Be warned that Watashi to Kekkon has some more drama in it compared to the pure Kaoru Hana.
